I just feel like you are working harder for less. A lot of other tanks outperform her in every category, non gimicky damage, much easier and less gimmicky CC and much more tanky.

She always seemed to me to be a bit light on the damage output.

A lot of that can be made up for when laning with the right partner.

The ability to take "OP" Champs out of the equation in team fight initiates or follow through on an initiate is a gimmicky but talent-proving Ultimate ability IMHO.

Like knowing when to utilize Sona's ult.

When it does what it's supposed to - it's a great experience, on the giving or receiving end of a Poppy Wallop.

She immediately pops you up if you have a dash which means this high mobility meta has a counter finally. Her ult can LITERALLY push the enemy team off of baron and steal it. She wasn't really made for damage but more of a super peel/disengage tank. Watching Riven try to fight my teammate who was on Poppy was rather funny earlier today.
