"The Rat-Race of Ranked"

Being in the Ranked Riot Rat-Race does not give you the RIGHT to talk to other players like they are pieces of crap. Let's just get that out there. Ranked has NEVER been an actual indication of your skill, it is more a test of your conformity, if you can adapt to what Riot wants when they constantly change the fotm champions and the meta to suit them.

Very little about League of Legends is actually about skill, other then long range skillshots. Melee Champions are certainly not an indication of skill as they do not require much effort at all to play. It always makes me laugh when people say they are, for example, a platinum Riven player because you are not really required to do much other then follow the same combo, at the same time, with the same build as millions of other players do. So essentially, you are testing your ability to be conformist to Riot's wishes.

But beyond yourself, League is essentially a game of luck. "Will I get a team of good players or a team of feeders/trolls/afk or any of the numerous perils that exist in ranked?" People at the higher elo's and higher divisions are simply more lucky then those at the bottom. Unfortunately, its phenomenon's like these that were also responsible for things like the rise of the Nazi Party in 1929. Riot is essentially creating an environment that you feel inadequate unless you are of a certain rank, which is totally random and to do with luck so it keeps you in a frustrating circle of climbing and falling.

Essentially, Riot is massaging the ego of higher level players by telling them that they are essentially "special" when in truth they are not just more lucky. Unless League was a 1v1 game then Ranked will never be a determination of true player skill. "Skill" actually does not exist in League of Legends but many of the higher level players need to justify the time they have wasted learning a game that changes season to season, patch to patch.

Its a never ending cycle designed to keep people playing this game and thus keep sales and profits up for Riot. You mean to tell me that anyone can become an LCS player without having to sign away certain "rights" to Riot like any other sport. Being an LCS player is undesirable in my opinion because this game simply becomes less about fun and more about being a job.

Dropping that attitude will go a long way to helping you improve so you can rank up. A quick glance at your recent matches and I can see why you think it's luck; it's not. It's you. Ask for the help of some higher elo players on how you can improve.

You can try and deny it by personally attacking myself or my games which are really not why I am posting this or you can try and provide a good COUNTER-ARGUEMENT to my points instead of blindly dismissing them. This is how debate and conversation works, since the early beginnings of dialogue of Socrates. Only ignorant people attack somebody personally for their opinion, especially as a last ditch effort because they have no way to PROVE otherwise.

"There is only one "Good" - Knowledge and one "Evil" - Ignorance"

"The unexamined life is not worth living"

Both of these quotes show why you should always examine and question EVERYTHING in life instead of just blindly accepting what you are told.
