Riot, stop dodging questions and cherry picking ones for articles in your desperate attempt to make yourself look like a reputable company. You NEVER answer any difficult questions and don't take advice from your OWN playerbase. I'm not talking about the HUD or any cosmetic changes because those I can deal with.

What I am talking about is... Nidalee

My simple question is this... Why does Nidalee ALWAYS have to be viable in some lane, some where!? I mean seriously, what is it. Does somebody at Riot have a latino girlfriend that he thinks is amazing and wants his chocolate mama to be one of the most powerful characters in the game by far? Is it really that petty a reason why Riot will go TOOTH and NAIL to defend Nidalee ?

Why can't we have a little diversity in lanes? Why can't Riot implement changes that DRAMATICALLY change the meta. Not like the Season 4/5 change where the jungle was reinvented but did nothing to provide diversity and LeeSin was one of the champs that you would see constantly. I don't mean change the meta from the repetitive cycle of Assassin - Bruiser - Tank etc. But actually CHANGE the game dramatically so DIFFERENT champs have a chance to shine. Are you afraid of losing money if you make inventive changes?

Why all the favoritism Riot? You have a great game and its fun but things like that ruin the game. Why does Nidalee HAVE THE STRONGEST SINGLE TARGET SKILLSHOT IN THE GAME when she isn't even A MAGE? Nidalee makes most of the mage poke of Velkoz and Xerath look obsolete by comparison. Why is a short range brawler (cat form) mixed with a long range skillshot/healer (human form). Did nobody think that she wouldn't be inherently toxic.

There are SO many champs in this game with "Lee Sin Syndrome"... Please, make newer champs have OBVIOUS weaknesses in ADDITION to good strength. ((Squishiness is not a weakness because Ekko can be built tanky and "squishiness" was HIS main weakness)). Please stop overloading kits where EVERYONE is good at EVERYTHING. Its gets boring seeing these champs over and over again.

This isn't a Nidalee Rage Thread, this is a genuine question to Riot of WHY they show favoritism to some champs in such a way that it makes the game stale?

Lee Sindrome has always been in Nidalee, and this is a Nid rage thread. That's fine, though. F-uck that champion and whoever made it.

They'd probably say something like "she's fun, interesting, has dynamic interactions, has decision making" yadda yadda. Frankly, I wish she would be reworked into something less mind-bendingly frustrating to deal with.

Why would Riot keep her unviable? Why would Riot WANT a champion to be permanently unviable anywhere? Outside of extreme gameplay cases (Poppy, Yorick) champions are balanced to hopefully always have some spot they can go in.

As to why she has a huge damage skillshot, because she has literally no CC, relies on going into a squishy melee form and jumping at someone to actually kill (unless someone is low health and decides sticking around is a good idea), and offers only a heal + AS and minor vision with traps to her team. Her damage is high because she doesn't offer much else. Xerath, for example, has his long range Q also an AoE, has a slow and a stun, and had an extremely long range ultimate. Vel'Koz has a slow, knockup/knockback, and a high range laser. All of his skills can affect multiple targets (and so can Xerath's except E); they are weaker alone than Nidalee's spear, but Nidalee also ONLY has her single target spear for ranged damage compared to their entire kits.

For the same reason they kept Eve/Olaf unviable for so long. Preventing them from being picked until reworked into something less obnoxious to deal with.

Nidalee ISN'T a mage, she shouldn't even HAVE a skillshot of that range. Especially one that is bugged and goes invisible or does obnoxious levels of damage. To be fair, Xerath should have stronger long range kit, thats HIS identity. Nidalee is just a horrible fusion of different styles that doesn't really work so its buffed until it does work.

She hasn't been "nerfed" she's been love-tapped... even her "rework" reduced the power of her spears by a PITIFUL amount when you compare how GUTTED Zilean was. His pickrate is something like 0.82% now. Its complete bias and Riot MUST have known when they done it. Its made the game boring.

That isn't the problem. She doesn't need nerfs. She needs to be reworked into a champion that can exist in League without people regretting her existence. If you nerf her, she'll just because less viable, but still annoying by design. That's not really the best option here.

Riot needs to recognize that incredible safety in a kit that is already annoying will piss people off (LeeSin Nidalee Fizz ). It doesn't matter if they're OP or not, they annoy you and you wish they didn't exist.

No champion should be so toxic by design that they're almost universally hated. THAT is a problem. I'm okay with annoying champions, I get it. In fact it's important that some exist. However, when a champion is hated this consistently, there is a very serious issue.

Prowl (Passive) duration reduced to 3 seconds from 4.
Javelin Toss (Human Q) reduced to 50/70/90/110/130 from 50/75/100/125/150

    [Note: This reduces the maximum damage to 150/210/270/330/390 from 150/225/300/375/450]

Yeah that'll make her weaker, but it won't make her less annoying.

Agreed, she'll still be about to use her cougar form to escape any gank, her spears will still do obnoxious damage and nothing will really change.

Then you must have missed the beginning of Season V, when Lee Sin was one of the MOST SPAMMED junglers. This was before Cinderhulk which buffed tank junglers but did NOTHING to hurt Lee Sin and his overloaded kit. He still continued to be played.

Yeah, you see a bit more diversity then in ranked, which is usually the same FOTM champs that happen to be strong in the current meta and then there is the champs that are viable IN ANY META, like;

Vayne LeeSin Nidalee Thresh Fizz Zed Yasuo

etc.

This is what "Lee Sin Syndrome" is, their kits are so overloaded and generalized, that they are good at most things and are never really effected by the changes in the meta.

But on a more on topic note, I do believe that lee sin and nidalee could use a gangplank level rework(not changes that fundamentally change who they are like Sion, but still signifcant enough to have a changing impact on them)
