Remember what you said this season, "Play Your Way" then why are you nerfing off builds?

Because my way of playing is too strong? Or more because I found a way to bypass every top laner problem with my off build? And now my build is getting nerfed and I'm forced to go Mid lane again... but I'm not gonna play Viktor mid because you know what? There are better champions mid that does the same thing as Viktor does. So why would I play Viktor mid? When I can play Kassadin, Leblanc, Ahri, Malzahar or any other mid laner. What makes someone want to play Viktor mid? The thing that we loved about viktor mid was removed! Cough cough his E explosion was quicker before

It's not like you play Viktor to begin with. You've literally only played him 3 times in the past like 4 months, the most recent of which is the only Top Lane Viktor you've ever played, as the previous 2 were in ARAMs. So I'm kinda doubting this is your "off meta build" or that you're "forced to go back to mid-lane" because you would have had to have been playing Viktor there to go back to there.

Viktor top is plainly put, unhealthy. He shits on a large chunk of top laners because his combination of poke plus a shield plus movement speed allows him to completely overshadow melees, and combined with his decent base damage on his spells at current, it allows him to build super defensively, thus offsetting any advantages enemies would have over him. That's the only reason's he's played top, because he's flavor of the month oppressive to the champions who are frequently there. Sure, you may enjoy off meta builds and all, but if those builds are proven to be exploitative and counterproductive to the spirit of the game, they've got to go.

Pretty sure casters aren't part of the balance team.

Remember when they limited the ways in which you can play the games to the 15, now 17, mechanics that replaced raw numerical power in the rune/mastery system?

Yeah, they really just mean "play our way, but tell yourself it's yours".
