Thunderlords seems to be crowding out most of the other keystones...

So what if we halved its damage, but made it so thunderlords had a cooldown on each enemy. So lets say I proc it on theirLeeSin , i can still proc it on theirThresh right away, but if my teams Talon tries to proc thunderlords on LeeSin, it wont go off.

Thunderlord's Decree is not overpowered.

Just that some of the keystones are underpowered, this does not mean that by extention TLD is overpowered, given that it is on equal level as Bond of Stone, Windseeker's Blessing and Warlord's.... just that keystones like Stormraider's Surge are just trash.... and Deathfire Touch was basically hard-nerfed by the one group of champions that consistently used it (DoT champs).

Thunderlords deals comparable DPS over 20 seconds (two procs) as Deathfire.

Is that bad though? I pick it on combo based mages, like Lux, Azir (well he does not have a real combo but...), Kassadin, Sona, etc. TLD makes their burst much stronger than DFT, wich is more suited for DoT mages like Malz and Brand.

They did say they were trying to get a three hit passive on every champion.

They succeeded

That's what happens when Riot nerfs every other keystone.

Then that'd make thunderlords stronger on aoe champs like oriana who can proc it on three people with her q w ult and melt that entire team.

the problem here is not only thonderlords, but the tree system. I more often than not just take thunderlords because i want the hybrid-pen or the extra cdr, which i both homestly value much higher than the %game due to the early focus of the game. So if i go deep into the resolve tree, Thunderlord is the obvious choice for most, as few synergies with windspeakers and stormraiders just needs some changes

If i had the choice, i would often fo with deathfre or fevor instead, but they are mostly of similar power, which theoretically is good, but that means that is see no reason to get them while missing out on the oen or cdr. At the same time, i always get grasp of the undying despite most of the time prefering the cdr or pen in any melee laner and most tanks in the jungle, just because Grasp seems so much stronger to me that it's worth to get it despite haveing to pick not optimal stats. The 'trees-system' just inhibits flexibillity and thus real customisation of the masteries...

Also, if you don't go for crit, don't have ways to keep dft up and are not that much AA.afine, what else would you take if you want an agressive masterie? There are alot of champs for which it is the only real choice since, atleast once fervor and dft are nerfed.

though i'm not opposed to the per target cd, once had a game vs douple thunderlords bot+on the jungler, prettymuch died to the trippleproc+ignite alone

I still think we should just have 5 points to spend and something like 15 to 20 different Keystones to choose from. None of this tree nonsense. You just pick the five masteries that fit with what you need from your champion.

i've always said TLD was much better than DFT. No one believed me cause they saw brand using it and was all like omg DFT so stronk!!! when in reality, DFT sucked ass on anything other than brand
