Can we fix Anivia's Q pls?

Idk when it happened but I recently picked her back up and when Q is smartcast you can't actually activate the ability if your cursor is out of range, instead Anivia tries to move in to range like you were casting a Ziggs ulti. This is extremely annoying and I even noticed BjergerKing complaining about it on his stream a couple weeks ago. So can we change it back so it just casts in whatever direction you're aiming regardless of the cursor distance?
