i never came close to winning this matchup at any point of the laning phase and the entire game. he just gets stupid attack speed and ad from his q and w while being full tank and just drains out all my stats. i cant do anything.
i'd rather face teemo as darius. its manageble at least. even for me as a tank trundle just turret dives with his ult at level 6 and beats me with his club under the turret

MakeThemBleed2 votesNever fight at level 1 and the goal here against trundle is to get 5 stacks and kite with q. Kiting with q is probably the most important thing you have to do against trundle cause you will heal and extend the fight as he bleeds out.

u seem to main darius and know a lot more than me. the only two matchups i ever lost as darius were irelia and i always lose to trundle. tho i outscale irelia but not trundle. once it gets to level 6 its over against the troll. he heals too much and he has too much sustained damage and sticking power
the fact u told me to not fight at level 1. as darius. arguably the last champion anyone wants to 1v1 at level 1. against trundle. says a lot.
MakeThemBleed2 votesHe's not gonna kill minions as he's fighting you and his cc is just something you got to deal with, there's no real answer for it, just use your cc to counter his and kite.
Irelia will more than likely destroy darius mid game because of the powers pike she gets from trinity force and/or other items however you are correct that darius outscales her late game full build. I personally don't like playing against trundle either since he is definitely a formidable opponent but I usually win through experience.
Darius maybe good at a lot of level 1 1v1 but the 2 champs you must absolutely avoid is Olaf and trundle, their level 1 unfortunately is a lot stronger, even with ignite unless they are bad or make a mistake but that's hard to do so with them.
III BAKURYU III 1 votesTrundle is weak against Darius its the poke that matters. Pick your fights if Trundle gets near you while your near your tower just kite and Q him away and just keep farming. I see so many players fight while under minion agro for a year and the minions get the advantage and not the champions and players for most cases. Each time he tries to fight you just walk away make him use his mana he can't really do much to you if you play safe.
I would recommend getting 
1st item if you just can't ever seem to beat him and afraid of him. GIves you Cooldown on your abilities and helps with self healing Q, base HP etc. Once you feel like you can beat trundles as Darius try to get 
First item and try to get 
for the First back. The Hp will help and so will the Movement speed from it to get away from the Trundle pillars and other movement impaired abilities. All n All. Just farm and don't play too aggressive just farm.
Most League Players get mad if their opponent plays safe and SMART and just farms, that is what EVERY lane should do instead of fighting 24/7 to give the junglers time to scale for ganks.
tidegate1 votesSpirit Visage is an absolutely idiotic first buy against an attack speed ad bruiser lol. If you want to surrender your lane super early feel free to build that hp that he just wants to steal from you with his ult.

that he steals from other champions but I personally still like getting Spirit first. I like building items not just for my lane as I play passive, and most cases need the hp regen to sustain. Every other Hp regen item is either MR only or the 
( which I just don't care for.) the animation is wonky for me.
This item should be better for Trundle

Tychusfindlay9191 votesIt is harder but not impossible. Take advantage of the fact that trundle is pure melee but your Q is ranged and deals more damage when youre further away from him.
Darius used to shit on trundle with old qss but now if trundle ults you have to run no questions asked. If he ever gets into range of you when you dont want him to, w and continue running away. If necessary, E and run away since E also slows after the pull (and they bounce back, its not like a crank pull).
If you can five stack him with relatively full hp, then depending on the situation its not bad to go back in.
Chances are though, a good trundle will have you up at your turret most of the time. Its not a fun matchup usually.
tidegate1 votesThis lane isn't actually that hard as Darius. I'm a Darius main and it took me two games to get this matchup down to a point where I'd say Darius counters Trundle. You need to reach level 3 without fighting and you almost have to start corrupting potion. Once you hit 3 you need to pressure him like crazy. If you can keep him from focusing farm he loses his healing and you maintain yours since it only procs off champions. At level 6 it's basically no question, once your passive procs you rape the poor fellow and you have about 365 true damage at r rank 1 so his tankiness doesn't matter. Also, it never hurts to bite the bullet and get your jungler to help because Darius is just broken when someone else can engage for him.
