With the current meta of poke from bot lane and mid being dominated by ranged and assassins, Annie needs her old range from AA and Q to be viable again.

Annie is at a 52.5% winrate over the lats 5 patches, according to op.gg She is already viable. Fun to play maybe not, but viable yes.
