Every game he is in, he gets super fed and is hyper oppressive his win rate is off the chart, maybe this is just a problem up to gold elo but i dont know. I would put him well above akali on the failed rework chart.
I either need to ban him and get hard countered mid, or ban my hard counter and watch my team int into him top lane.
Mordekaiser is overrated.
I have fought him many times in the top lane. And i can say i have destroyed him almost every game.
Mordekaiser is a strong laner comparable to

. Of course Morde will dumster on someone like 
. Thats what lane bullies are for.
My personal favorite counterpick is 
, you can out duel him even in his ult. I once made a morde go AFK after solo killing him in lane 3 times. Once you kill him once you can kill him over and over again.
So do your best to punish him once he misses his pull or Q, then all in him. If youre in a somewhat unfavourable position, just keep your distance. I know it is easier said than done, but he has his weaknesses just like everyone else
Maybe Im biased because I dont play an ADC that fears the ult, but really he is not as powerful as people think.
He's super predictable, similar to aatrox and moreso than darius. His winrate plat+ is like 50-51%. He's just another juggernaut type guy.

I play Mordekaiser a lot and I can tell you the laning phase is far from an automatic win. Ranged champs are a very tough matchup, and a few melee ones like Jax or Darius too. And Kench completely destroys me in the laning phase - I'm guessing Mordekaiser's positive winrate against him is due to the fact that Kench is simply a "win lane, lose game" champ, as many people have said.
So yeah, if your top ints to him it just means they play poorly and failed to respect the champ's power in 1v1.
Morde isn't even close to the abomination akali was after her rework, her kit is fundamentally broken, Morde can easily be fixed with number tweaks, or a duration reduction on his ultimate to 5 sec at rank 1 and go up to 7 at rank 3.
seriously hampers his DPS if you are tank OR 
if you are DPS. Mages have access to 
so Morde becomes really hesitant to R you. 
mid to late will dumpster him mercilessly and like wise he cant land his E he has zero options to get on top of someone such as 
outside of just trudging forward fruitlessly.I think Morde is another Darius case where he will absolutely dumpster any and everyone at lower elo's due to the straightforward high power kit but wont see play at higher levels unless numbers are disgusting enough to overlook his clear weaknesses.
"Dodge everything" is not a solution really its not remotely feasible. He will eventually land his cc and ko you before you can react leaving little to no room for counterplay especially if he has a rylai.
Tahm bench is great in lane but there is a reason people say "win lane lose game" hes pretty average/low tier outside of lane as to where morde is strong at all stages.
His Q needs Windslash treatment (slower travel time). Right now it's too oppressive to play around.

I really havent had much issue with him.
hes a blessing to top lane players if they can first pick him imo
he sucks against things that can space themselves well which alot of people dont do when they get ulted they do 1 escape and try to hide which never works.
he also would be super bad into other champs who wanna 1v1 him ex trundle
I don't even know what opinion to have on Morde anymore. On one hand I think he's op because the stats do show that he's too strong, but then in game most of my success comes from the fact that people don't ever respect my damage output and tankiness and just rush into me blindly thinking I'll go down easy. He feels really similar to Darius to me in that way and yet I notice people usually don't respect him half as much as they would a Darius (unless I'm extremely fed but then you'd do that with any fed champ), leading to many unfortunate and avoidable deaths.
Ah and also barely any ADCs I see build QSS against him. Say whatever you wish about that argument not justifying how strong Morde is, but that shit can be a lifesaver and yet people often choose to forego it.
