Thresh's kit, is straight up** overloaded**.
I'm tired of him, crowding out all other support picks in the game.
I don't care if he's flashy, or LC$ Plays, he needs some damn nerfs. Not big ones, but enough to bring other supports back in play.

Just once more than the next two. Not really a big deal. Leona Morg and Annie used to be way more common. Someone is always going to be more prevalent than the rest. It's just popularity mostly, not effectiveness.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesIt's not bad if you can't peel Xin off you. But if you have anything that will interrupt his Q knockup (Aqua Prison), he's a shit support lol. Plus as a standard starved support he's squishy by mid game with no good defense but still needs to go into melee to be useful. If you snowball bot lane I'm sure it's good.
Ratbert1 votesJust saying, but I think statistics from "trusted" websites give a better picture than one person's 20 game sample size. Lolking and op.gg.na lists his average popularity at 32-33%, which increases steadily to diamond's 42% to master's peak at 48%, which means he's seen every three games aka 7 out of 20 games. Bear in mind even in your statistics, one less is a 5% drop in pick rate.
