With the exception of the base damage. I fail to see how this is stronger than death fire touch. which has .5 bonus Attack and .2 ability power.

Also there's a 30 second CD on Thunderlords. Probably not that useful for DPS or All Ins. (but just fine for poke.)

It may do less total damage than deathfire but it is upfront damage instead of damage overtime which inherently makes it stronger.

>being this retarded

Assassins want burst NOT sustained damage

thunderlords decree is perfect for all ins it deals its damage right away instead of in a dot and is not halved with aoe effects.

Because Deathfire has 6 base damage and only 10% more AP, while Thunderlord has 10-180 and is AoE and instant.

Deathfire is great for poke, Thunderlords is great for burst.

Stormraider's Surge is best on assassins, especially AD. AP assassins can use deathfire touch pretty well too. Thunderlords Decree works but it isn't quite as good.

Thunderlords is significantly more bonus damage than Ludens. It's pretty good, IMO.

It is more damage than item 3285 , just its once every 3. This means that unless Lux has used 2 spells, her ult wont do bonus damage if shes just going back into lane after recalling. item 3285 would give Lux ult bonus damage in this scenario without using her mana, Also thunderlords decree has a 30 second cooldown. You could get off atleast 4 item 3285 procs during that time, and 4 item 3285 procs do more damage than thunderlords decree.

It also procs off of AA's. I'd be willing to bet it's set to proc off damage, so if you just E-AA them it'd proc thunderlords (like how you can get 3 spellthief stacks that way).

Yes, you're right that Thunderlord's isn't as much poke as Luden's. That doesn't make it useless for poke, and especially doesn't make it useless for burst.

AD assassins can use deathfire touch well too because assassins are about spells and deathfires touch is too. Thunderlords is better for burst, and hopefully no one ever uses it on Veigar. Ludens also gives the 10% movement speed though, and it does have a 0.15% AP ratio so its not a downer passive.

I already am using it on him, also Luden's AP Ratio is 10%

That's Cheap. Thanks for that little detail.

I tried Stormraiders on Ekko

Let me just say I am not swapping that out any time soon.

Cool Lol, I can imagine that being decent.

I like death fires grasp on Talon along with his Noxian diplomacy

But in the end, is sacrificing the Armour Pen./ Magic Pen. worth it?

ChaosThief1 votes

It still gives flat pen instead of % pen. 3 + .3 per level as well as it being for BOTH.
