So why is Kassadin doesn't have MR scaling? and yet he is a melee champion.

I understand the deleting of Mr scaling in marksmen, Range mages and range supports and some other ranges, so why Does kassadin doesn't have Mr scaling? it really gets on my interest he is not a range he is a melee assassin, He wasn't on the list of the Assassin update that's fine i won't mind anything but is he going to get the Mr scaling? or revamped into range? Because when a melee doesn't have MR scaling it doesn't make sense.

For the same reason Thresh doesn't have armor scaling.

But thresh gains Ap from passive other than armor, Kassadin could use something else to plus it with his original 15 magic reduction

15 percent. It's not the same as flat 15 MR. Percentages scale throughout the game

As previously stated he does. It's that whole lack of unit collision thing he has.

The passive plus the magic damage shield on the Q already gives him enough defense against magic damage without needing the scaling MR.

Also, the raw 15% reduced magic damage taken would not be subject to magic penetration, so I would argue it's probably better than giving him MR/level would be.

I thought giving him new passive and already give him his Mr scaling back he will become a counter for some ap champions like Galio

that won't make interest they could add the Mr scaling as a melee and give him a unique passive cuz in this way, that means Kassadin has literally no passive.
