ever been in a game when you are doing so good in your lane. but every other lane to include jgler, are feeding.

then next thing you know, the enemy comes in swarming in with a 5 man gank. and the small lead and small chance you had of carrying your team, just completes shuts down. what are the correct counter measures to this?

in my current elo, my team mates are so bad at capitalizing against this. for example, if top gets a 5 man gank. nobody bothers to take a tower, or dragon, or at least try to counter gank. they just continue to farm their lane like nothing is going on.

this factor is out of my hands, it's something i can't control. I can tell my team mates to go for dragon, but I CANNOT FORCE them to do dragon.

so from my point of view, what CAN I DO to protect myself from a 4-5 man gank? how do i prepare myself from a 5 man gank?

Type "NOOBS CANT 1v1 ME" in all chat.

you dont, you instead push a different wave or take something else on the map to compensate, give nothing away for free.

I'll assume you are playing bot lane. They key is to look at the mini-map constantly. I know it's hard since in a 2v2 there are more things to focus on, compared to a solo lane. But if you notice that mid and top are missing (or that one/more of your team mates are dead) it mean's that you're more than likely getting ganked soon. AFAIK; one of the best Korean players in the world looks at his mini-map every 3 seconds - now you don't need to be the number 1 player in the world; but definitely try and pay more attention the rest of the map.

Story of my life. Literally close to every game out on the Rift.

This might help. If you are low on resources then B. A few creeps aren't worth overstaying your welcome. You're less likely to be ganked under turret if you're healthy.

Also keep an eye on the map and don't extend past the river without vision.

If you are bot lane blue or top lane purple then remember that there are two likely entry points for enemies and pay close attention to those key sections.

If you are mid lane then reserve your trinkets for one side of the river and farm near that side to avoid enemies.

Plan your escapes carefully. If you are ganked, your immediate instinct is to make a bee line for your turret, but your turret may fail to save you or deter enemies from finishing you whether or not they survive the attempt. Use the nearby jg to your advantage. If the enemy cannot see you then they cannot target you as easily. Move from one brush to the next and head toward the nearest ally or toward your base.

If you successfully escape an attempt on your life then continue walking back to base. You never know where an attack will come from next. You reduce your chances of surviving by standing still just to recall.

Ward up and leave before they get to you.
