Why not being able to mute emotes is absurd

Riot has always had a great approach to how they let players censor behavior which might tilt them. Do you not enjoy your opponent talking shit to you in all chat? No problem here is a mute button. If someone is spam laughing or taunting right infront of you, do you feel the unhealthy urge too all in them even though your pretty sure its not a good idea? No problem here is a mute button. Do you find mastery spam annoying? -> mute button.

Do you find it tilting when your opponent sarcastically spams a thumbs up whenever you make a mistake? Well too fucking bad that is here to stay

It is completely opposite to how Riot has treated every other form of communication. Is this supposed to be special just because they want you to spend RP on it? Wahooo...

Emotes are incredibly stupid. All it does is cause people to be tilted.

Actually you can mute enemy emote spamin the options, but not ally emote spam... which is even more annoying imoé

What i miss the most is the ability to show my Mastery 7 icon after dying.

I would always make sure to show it after performing the shittiest plays and dying like a turd, in self-degradation.

If you get tilted by a thumb then you shouldnt be playing since you will makea negative impact on your team if anything its more sportsman like bm instead of being toxic in chat

But what's the point of flashing my mastery emote over my enemy's dead body if they can just mute it and not see it?

From the announcement: "If you’re on the fast track to Tilt City, you can individually mute emotes via the scoreboard. We’re also adding a “mute enemy emotes” option in the in-game settings. Emotes will also “break” and go on cooldown if you take any champion damage while emoting. "

I do not know if that mute enemy emotes exists yet, but if it doesn't, it should be on it's way. And you can mute individual player's emotes even now.
