I play the game as a one trick pony, I don't use skins or say anything that would make people expect anything from me. The enemy team expects me to be just another 0/12 singed and I am happy to let them think that until I am snowballing... well until I now have this dam honor flair every loading screen. Am I able to disable honor flairs?
The honor flair only shows up if you were honored in the previous game. Feel free to ask people to not honor you at any time during the game. If you state that you dislike the honor flair, most people should honor your request.

Honor flairs have nothing to do with your score.
If I see someone on the enemy/my team has an honor flair, it just makes me think they won't flame.

While I understand where you're coming from, I do wonder if you might be overestimating the effect of the flair on people's prejudgments of your gameplay. Personally, I look at the flairs and then tend to forget about them as soon as the game starts.
Still, I feel that it would make more sense if the flairs were only visible to allies, just like champion mastery level and ranked borders.

Wow I have never heard of this problem before, personally I usually honor by a person's character more than their plays... Makes me miss the Honorable Opponent option.
