Teleport channeling extended?
Honestly, what the heck was Riot thinking with this?

They were thinking that the Double TP strat was being over used. (Again)

So what if it was? why not weaken ignite since mid laners use it SO much then?
or flash since EVERYONE uses it?
Or
its too op
so Op it was deleted!

At what ELO does Ignite get abused on mid laners?
Watching the LCS, mid lane probably has the greatest Summoner spell diversity.
because 2 people TPing bot on CD is toxic to the game both in pro gameplay and normals.
Mid laners in pro gameplay generally take teleport these days, and a lot of them in normal/ranked games too, so your argument doesn't make much sense... They wanted to give you a slightly larger window to respond to a TP, forcing you to actually coordinate (get a stun/CC/start a fight) before the TP, instead of "we have a ward behind you and someone TPed on it, we're just going to stand here and watch you get flanked and do nothing because we don't have to".
Mid's with TP just make me feel bad for TF. It's like watching someone lose their job.
It's not like top is great for anything else...
about time. is it annoying for me to wait longer for a teleport. yes. but am sick of team double tping and bombarding bot lane every time they extend halfway through the lane.
Fuck top lane how dare it try to be more than an island.
Anyway, not that much has been lost. It was mostly premades who used TP to gank bot off-cooldown, so a longer channel is mostly their loss.

Leaves you vulnerable to silence, and Trundle's pillar and Anivia's wall to push you and interrupt it.
Well I mean you shouldn't be doing TP in a place where it's easy to be interrupted in the first place. So I don't see a problem.
Or knockups, voli's flip, a lottttttta stuff interrupts teleport. lol
ive been intgerupting teleports form season 3 make them even longer tho
You don't know how much you're used to something until you stun one second too early because they increased the channel time and get wrecked because of it LOL.
Feelsbadman
I was doing this with Morgana snares the other day. Took me almost the entire day to get used to the timing again.
They're thinking, "We should have done this 2 seasons ago." It's about time that the cancerous TP ganks finally got nerfed.
People were getting fed up with the 5 man ganks bot.
doing cheesy run->CC->tp base escape-strats is becoming harder and harder with these longer channels though
Pantheon has got it pretty good, seeing as it only takes him 2 seconds to get into the air.
It's fucked up my timing on
stuns so much. The horrible feeling when you Q a second early to have a riven faceroll through your team when she arrives is just horrid.
I've gone back to flash ignite since the extra second allows me to more easily interrupt other top laners who take tp to try and have map pressure.
I've been debating taking ignite on GP, because my ult gives enough pressure as is, but I also like being in lane constantly because I am farm the champion.
So "suprise motherfker" wouldn't be as suprising.
Overextending when the enemy TP is up can be pretty unforgiving.
I'm guessing they wanna make TPing a little more obvious.
idk
I wish the channel would be kept the same for turrets but the increase only affects it if you tp to a ward or minion
they obviously dont want the spell to be used as much as it is being used but flash is still a staple on every champion in every role
