ViciousSummoner1 votesAerie is the utility version of Comet. With recent nerfs to Aerie, Aerie and Comet are now right where they're supposed to be. One is an offensive tool and one is a defensive tool with a slightly offensive aspect for those that want it.
Phase Rush is for champs that want to stick to targets. Ex: Darius, Xin, WW, Trundle, etc. etc.

Neither did stormraiders but it was never considered weak or bad by any means. It's just that phase rush is weak because a lot of champs who used it like Veigar, could press W and just get the free ms and slow resistance.

No veigar main builds tank tho lol. And the reason Nasus doesn't go phase rush whereas Nasus used to go stormraiders is because you could procc stormraiders with your Q alone. Now you have to Q+W+E, which is kind of a lot of work.
