Overall riven mains keep on repeating the same lie that her AA-cancel was a feature from the moment she was relased. A feature Riot didn't know of and that was discovered a month+ after her relase. And only after a while did some Rioter said "WELL IT'S A FEATURE NOW!11"
Also I wonder, will all 
abusers be nerfed exactly the same as mages when Riot added

basically when they changed nidalee from a spear throwing champ into a more complex champ, only to release zoe. which is the old nidalee but better
Well at this point league of legends will have to stop making such items that give you cooldown when you AA or shit like this and old Essence Reaver because they always turn out to be broken...
I mean, from a design perspective seeing that in her base kit WOULD be Terrible
As an Item I would consider her buying it as a cap and that she won't have right at level 6, maybe 8 or 9 if she rushes it and it may be even further later on then that if she's been bullied behind.
That being said I can see why that would be a problem, and I'm sure riot may see the problem, but only after people make popular posts pointing it out; and considering that there are as many champs as there are in game, and the item is in no way exclusive to her, It balancing would only be started after the message was gotten across. So not only are they starting on balancing this long after it's been talked over the community on multiple formats with overwhelming support for such change by the community, but to balance it, they need to consider what makes it especially good on her, is it how the item interacts with her kit, or how her kit interacts with the item (The order of that distinction is important), how could we change either without dragging too many other people who could buy it down, how many will be dragged down regardless due to kit function similarity, and what are the odds this possible change could make it monstrous on a champ who didn't have that problem before. This takes a lot of time as it goes back and forth and even if there is a good idea there will be time spent trying to see if there is a better idea.
All that said, Yes that was not a good idea in hindsight on riots part, but this is not something exclusive to riven, and it's not something Guaranteed (I.E not built within the kit) for her to get at level 6, where she would get her ult, so it was likely overlooked in that part.

the She-woman section sounds like Xin's ult though (moreso the older version) then again I'm pretty used to Riot' reasonings not standing up to scrutiny [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Never forget Omen was scrapped to make room for Riven.
I just played against Riven and the healing from Conqueror and Ravenous hunter, and Triumph and whatever lifesteal she has is just too much. Spear of Shojin is also not fair on champions with already low cds. Rioters are too dumb to understand that they are losing playerbase with such "balance"
Also the LASERS one (considering they meant they moved it to ult) is basically Titanic Hydra but aa instead of ability.

This is how you see it(?): it's terrible, so it should be in the game!!11 This is how I see it: it was terrible as an ult, so they made it available all the time. And that's correct, imagine if animation canceling was the main point of her ult and only available when she ulted. wtf. That would be actually terrible.
I never saw something more troll from Riot than Old Gragas lore that he became enormous drinking radioactive beer and got banned from every bar in Noxus. But this is basically the same degree of trolling.
