Season 6 Matchmaking/Dynamic queue story
Background/Rant: Alright, I'm completely sick of dynamic queue/matchmaking. I've had numerous games that have been completely out of my control, but this game is the mother of them all. So I queue up as Mid/Top because I can't actually put adc as my secondary role unless I want to play adc every game, then I wait like 4 minutes in queue, and it pops, I got mid. I'm not really paying too much attention other than asking our Taliyah if she had ever played the champion (literally asked this) and she said yeh or something of the sort. I locked in Cassio vs a ziggs, and then was afk for the rest of matchmaking. We get into game, and we have Diana, myself, and Taliyah all with teleport. I walk mid, and Diana follows me, I ask her if I was support, even though I'm certain I did not queue up for support. She says nothing and sits mid. I decide to play support because I'd rather not play two mid lane... Great start. Our Shaco goes and cheeses Khazix and comes out with first blood, decent start. Then the poop starts flying, Taliyah gets ganked and dies, she continues feeding several kills to Khazix, ending the game 0/10/4. I look up the game about half way through after Khazix has pretty much completely dominated everyone and the Taliyah and Shaco are both unranked, with no season 5 ranks, Shaco had a season 4 silver ranking. I came back, and complain a bit, I'm quite agitated that this person first timed Taliyah in ranked... Diana speaks for the first time and says that she should've stolen top or adc because I was the only human on the team, she actually did quite decently, until getting dumpstered by the fed Khazix. Solution: First, new champions should be banned from ranked games for the first week at least, if not a couple of weeks. Stuff like this should never happen. And second, unranked players shouldn't be queued up with high silver players unless they've shown amazing win rates and are obviously smurfing, neither of these players were particularly amazing looking, I have no idea why they were queued with me, and if it was because of dynamic queue, well... force unranked players to play their placement matches by themselves.
If I didn't have a troll/feeder/dynamic queue in any of my games, I'd be a much happier consumer and maybe actually consider buying more IP! :O $$$$ I literally have more balanced matchmaking in normal games.
