Well, I'm trying to find use for Quinn and I was thinking...
What if Quinn goes mid, and builds tanky/CDR. The build he does wouldn't be reliant on his Quinn form but rather his Valor form. So this is the idea of build I have [PS: You would go Flash/Smite]
Blade Trinity Frozen Heart Spirit Visage Skirmisher Sabre - Cinder Hulk Boots [Dependent on the enemy team you're facing]

Aside from that Quinn has a kit for dueling. Tanky mid seems an awkward choice when you're facing off against a majority of Magic damage. A spirit visage might reduce the pain but its not really going to save you the from bursts of damage that happen in the mid lane and if your sacrificing damage for defense and relying solely on Valor it'd be roughly as effective as a tanky master Yi. Keep in mind Quinn is not a transform character so with a valor based build you're entirely reliant on your ult's 'up' time and completely ignoring the use of your passive proc's. Your power spikes would be inconsistent and your use as a real tank would be marginal at best, wouldn't recommend it.
