Question: Azir ult and Olaf ult

So I understand that Olaf shouldn't be knocked back by Azir ult, but is it intended behavior for Olaf to be able to simply walk through Azir ult while ulted as well? What with Azir's ult's behavior being very finicky even now I do have to ask.

I would Think Azir's ult would count as a wall or Terrain, but I'm not sure. Their may be a difference depending if he merely walks up to it or if Azir is in the middle of casting it. This needs testing.

I can confirm that he is not knocked back during the cast and is therefore behind the wall as it passes through him. However Olaf can as well ult and just walk through after it has settled.

I believe he will still take the damage but he should be able to go through the wall unhindered. Can't say for sure though. Can Olaf walk through J4's ultimate or Anivia's wall?

He cannot walk through J4 or Anivia wall, they are listed as terrain effects. Azir's is not terrain technically but it's a bit of a gray area.

Given that Azir's wall physically knocks things back even after being up, it's counted as a wind wall like knockback effect, where it just knocks everything away in that area. It is not terrain in any way.

Cool, that's good to know. I wonder what happens if you condemn someone into an Azir wall.
