S rank is supposed to hard to achieve, but lets be realistic.

I'm not someone who lower's the difficulty setting to get through a game, I prefer things on hard to be rewarding.

But when I play a really gratifying game of ARAM, where I am pulling off amazing plays, getting triple kills, and taking two towers by myself with a great stat line to be shown an A at the end of the game, that stings.

To win with a stat line like this: Time: 15:19 Kills: 11 , Deaths: 1, Assists: 11, Creep:78, Gold 10,378, 9 Kill Spree, Triple Kill, 2 Towers Destroyed (by my champ). and be denied is hurtful.

I know every champion has to come by different criteria to make their rank, but I can't imagine that stat line on any character not being recognized as masterful play. Especially in ARAM, where simply not dying is hard enough, but racking up high scores while not dying is incredibly hard.

but I can't imagine that stat line on any character ....

It's evidently not for Jhin, and that is what matters.

I know it hurts, I agree it shouldn't be like that, but in case you haven't realized, to Riot assists matter more than kills. I'm not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if game length also influences this.

My recent best games in ARAM (all wins):

I went 11/5/24 with Teemo , got S- 12/5/25 with Cassiopeia, S 10/7/38 with Sejuani, S 8/11/41 with Blitz, A+ 22/9/15 with Fiddle, A+ 11/0/28 with Jhin, A ( http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2474560993/215863002?tab=overview )

Can you believe the last one!?!? ZERO deaths, many assists, 11 kills, that's one amazing KDA right there and only got a fucking lousy A. The rating seems to also depend on what champion you play. I've never gotten S+, I think, seems too hard.

Try playing Summoner's Rift instead.

the other problem as well is that certain champs have a pre-set "way of playing" to earn your high score, which makes it difficult if you go off the meta with them.

one which particularly irked me was with Kayle support. it took me ages to get my level 7 despite getting a few games that (i would personally rate myself as at least S- material). Clutch saves, loads of assists with nearly no deaths, wards all over the map, enemy wards cleared out, shielding, healing etc... but with no damage items and no farm, my damage scores and farm scores were terrible, which in the end, only earned me between a B+ to an A. I only got to level 7 playing the usual carry Kayle at an average standard, but with a lot more farm and damage dealt.

I'm not sure exactly how this thing's scored but many on the boards have mentioned something about farm, which I think only true supports are exempt from, so I think there might be some truth to it.
