Well guys, now that her passive is getting completely reworked. I have to say. It's going to be a sad day for us when the rework comes out.

Malicious Metal2 votesI'm no Akali main but the new passive looks really interesting seeing that it allows Akali to be strong without Riot being forced to nerf her. Her Spellvamp passive made her somewhat overbearing when ahead, which wasn't a very fun experience.
I agree that the numbers are too weak though, especially those on P, E and R.
I played her twice on the PBE and while she feels more engaging she does seem a bit on the weaker side

Hinagiku332 votesI agree that the Spellvamp may have been overbearing in some cases, but it felt pretty necessary. Akali has a longer, more drawn out kill pattern as it is and tends to die in 2 hits so getting some health back during her combo allowed her to function.
But now that she only heals on her 1st hit, she's likely to waste her only sustain while she's still at full health before her target retaliates. I get putting the damage on the second hit to back-load her burst some more...but this might be over-doing it.
Also her numbers look absolutely atrocious. I'm guessing she'll be abysmal at release but she might be okay after some numbers buffs.
