Don't always play that exact champion all the time? I have a wide champion pool of about 10-20, and I gained more S ranks for chests than gaining keys.

I was 1 trick yasuo back then, and had 87% win rate after 25 games. I feel so bad becouse i stopped playing him..

LOL That is actually a good point. Hextech Crafting is pretty useless for a one-trick, unless they get PRETTY lucky and get loot corresponding to their champion.

I was a one trick for a long time, but this system forces me to play other champs if i want icons, ward skins, champion skins, blue esence to get mastery lvl 7, etc. The problem is, that as a 1 trick, i am not used to any other champions, than my main. It feels hard to play anythink, but your main (second pick) so it is very hard to get s- for me, when i am not on my 1 trick.

I mean, this is a completely valid point, but there's still the chance of ward skins, summoner icons (Which tbh, nobody really uses but I'm gonna state them to prove a point), perhaps a new skin for their main however unlikely.

Like I get what you're getting at, but the whole point of the boxes is to see how many you can get an S rank on in a given season.

The fun of the challenge is supposed to be playing champions you normally don't (no matter how arbitrary that is, but I guess we can get cosmetic content for free so whatever)

Don't like assassin's, fighters, supports, divers, or skirmishes. The only other champions I have even a shred of liking for is Leona but I hate support because I normally play solo and randoms are bad and Leona top is bad, and Skarner who is barely a champion in his current state, which picking him is also a detriment to the team. So until Leona top is viable or Skarner gets reworked I don't like to play anyone else. Or Aurelion Sol, I like him but he's too hard for me so I don't play him because I feed every game and I don't feel like feeding for 100 games in a row to get mediocre at a very niche pick.

False. It is orders of magnitude more difficult to earn chests in ARAM than in normal games, mainly because your CS will always be below average because you're fighting 4 other people for the same minions.

I just play a champ in an odd role (I like doing adcs top) and as long as you do decent, your ranking will be higher than normal. I almost always get atleast an A even if I go something like 2/14/0 it's easy chests

Why not lower the cooldown for the box per game played on a champion? Say 10-25 games for boxes to reset on a champ. Might help.

I dont 1 trick I just cant get Chests because i like to win games even if it means running into towers that my teammates wont touch 5 times to get it when they push mid and peel back all the way into base to refill their 90% full mana pool and repeat that until 18 mins and try to surrender because they arent stomping.

I think they should change it up a bit. 1 Chest for each S-, one for a S, and one for a S+. While not what people really want, at least it allows one-tricks to get 3 chests over the year instead of 1. :P

One tricks can get just as many chests as anyone else.To get an s- or more you have to play well ONE game with a champ that you didn't get a chest from. How hard is that? Key drops are RNG but chests aren't so how can people complain about not having chests when they don't even try to get them?

I too used to suffer the too many boxes or too many keys dilemma, but with this one simple trick it all went away. Rito released missions and I stopped playing like I had brain damage, and now? Now I can't even get any boxes because I get too many S ranks and I never get any keys from actually playing so I just trade in those game-baiting mission points for key fragments.
