Will there be a look into having a million mastery points banner? Its pretty unique to see people with 1 million. it shows they know their champion.
Was wondering, because at 1 million, their is no reward. and 1 million is pretty impressive if you ask me,
1 million. its quite a bit of time and effort for no reward... :) just a new banner. would love to suggest an idea of what it may look like...

As somebody with 1.6 million on Elise, I'd rather the game not announce how much I play the champion to my team or theirs.
Reasonings:
say there's a /remake and then they target ban you assuming everybody queues up the same time, I've had this happen many times (nobody just bans Elise in low diamond and when they do, I was in the previous lobby before dodge or remake). This is something easily abusable in higher elo and personally I pay attention the same way (if I see a guy with "thresh main" in my champ select lobby, and then dodge, and then I get in a new lobby immidiately and I don't see them, I'll ban thresh right there and about 80% of the time I was right and it either results in another dodge or them on something with lesser chances of winning). Its scumbag but its truthfully the best call to do from both ends, and the reason why I don't associate elise in my summoner tag at all and got rid of my club tag.
over expectency, I've had many people literally flame me for not 1v9 carrying and call me useless trash that wasted time, or the enemy team getting cocky off of counter jungling 2v1 mid+jungle and bming with "main?", even if I'm fed. Occasionally I'll get a player, especially in norms that just watch me instead of playing the game. Its cases like these I don't want my or the enemy to know about my experience because I'd rather let the performance dictate my skill expression then the number, which from the start makes players have an eye on you and every little thing you do, even if its right and looks wrong to them.
Even if I do go 11/0/11 I'll still get /all shit elise, fed only cause bad top laner.. so there's really nothing I'm willing to show for pride when the community takes the pride away.
Maybe something for your profile, but anything in-game or loading screen please no unless you can option to hide it, I wouldn't mind a cool banner on my profile so when people check me it immediately lets them know rather then them having to hover to see the number itself, but interaction about experience should be left alone. I wouldn't mind an icon for the thought however, just to say I have it.

This just makes me want it even more. Nothing would be more significant of me being the worst Kench NA than having over a million mastery points for him, yet being still in bronze.

No, it shows they play a lot and have virtually no range. I have a guy on my friends list who has about 1 mil mastery on his main and is bronze 5, 0LP, and has been there since I have known him.
Champion Skin1 votesYeah you could in theory get to 1 million mastery points without winning a single game on the champion it would just take a lot more games (though for that to happen you would pretty much have to try and lose and even then your team might be able to win 4v5 or the enemy might also have someone that afk or whatever making it a 4v4)

The irony of the mastery system is that because it simply increases with games played the most important thing the mastery system does is reveal who's dramatically hard stuck at their rank.

TheMissit3 votesI think Mastery does not show how good you are on a champ, but how many games u have played and how much you have grinded. So this shouln't be in loading screen at all (or as option). Even tho - I think there should be someting on the profile ( that is visible in loadingscreen to if u toggle it on) that is just golden ( like the challenger frame around the champion pic.). That would be nice. But NO new BM - stuff ingame...

League isn't an MMO where you can spec one hero til the end of time. Riot shouldn't reinforce nor reward this mindset.

Anywho, I say a loading screen flair for 1mil mastery points would be nice. Perhaps put it on top with the honor flair or give them a modified splash art or something. Don't really think anything else is needed out-of-game as mastery 6-7 is still pretty big and messy looking. I suppose you could draw a gold box around one that had 1mil+ though.
