The truth on why games feel one sided

Every F****ing game I play feels one sided. Either my team and I totally dominate every lane or we all lose. Majority of my games feel like they are one sided.

Do you know why? Because riot has directly changed multiple things to increase the pace of the game.

Let’s examine a few stuff. -Go back to any previous season, try to recall a season where Baron was a contested pick at 20 minutes. It used to be a rare thing where you see a team picking up a baron at 20 minutes. You would need to invest 3+ members to actually do it, and it would be costly. Today scoring an ace, you can still mostly get a baron even with 2 people -Go back a few any previous season, can you recall a season where one death post 6-7 min would mean a destroyed tower? Do you recall a time other than this season when an ace past 25 min didn’t mean that the enemy can now run down 6+ towers in the spam of 20 seconds? -late game spikes. Laning phase used to up to 15-20 min. People used to make stupid remarks on esports lol being boring because people farmed for 15-20 min. Mid would start by 15-25 min. Late game is 30+Min. Today, a ADC is expected to spike with 1-2 items. World’s patch, they spike with 1 item (+Ardent).

Everything is quicker now. One death past 6 minutes will almost always lose your first tower. Your opponent will be ahead at least 600 gold if that happens. Because champions are spiking with items a lot faster, just dying once will make it harder to comeback from.

If you lose a fight post two minutes, you can lose either a baron which will lead to huge gold gain after or multiple towers. This is something that I’m the past was not able to occur. In the past, you’d have to constantly win team fights to get strong enough to get baron.

Today, you can ace a team, a ADC and a tanky support survive, post 20 minute they have a good chance at kill it.

One sided games! Thanks riot

snowballing is a serious issue, some snowballing is fine, but with turrets being so weak, snowballing has turned into avalanching.

Pretty much

If you go to lane after one death, with no tower, your opponent is easily 600+ ahead. Potentially, if it was first tower good and first blood, they good be over 1000 good ahead.

Not to mention, without a tower, it’s so much easier for you to lose pressure all over the map. This is especially true in bot and mid lane.

I mean hell, I remember dying twice to a yasuo in a game as orianna, and suddenly he's able to full on turret dive, and live, even after I ult him and use my summs!

I wish they'd fire Ghostcrawler already. This guy spells trouble for any game he works on.

You know, this has already been addressed multiple times, so if you can't handle the game being shorter then move on. I don't like sitting through hour long games, just because the enemy team can clear waves and turtle.

Better than play farm simulator with 3 gold gen items on irelia and just sit under tower, get TF and win game.
