Just vs'd somebody who abused Remake

He and his premade forgot to swap champs, so he disconnected before loading in so that his partner that he was boosting wouldnt lose LP.

Very rarely would this happen, but just putting it out there.

That's not an abuse because the guy who DC'd will lose IP. He took a loss, so I'm not sure how that's considered an exploit.

The booster also gets leaver buster and goes in to low priority que, exponentially increasing upon each time this happens in a short window. Actually putting the boosting on hold for some time.

I dont know if thats abuse. Sounds pretty legit to me. They forgot to swap, so the game wasnt as intended, and then one player dc'd to get out of the game. Saved everyone some time.

It wasnt a 4v5 game, which is what it's designed for.

Correct. Remake is designed for people who are unable to connect to the game, not for people who forgot to swap champs so "quick DC so that I dont lose LP".

I don't care. That is not the intended function of the system.

if you have an AFK/actual DC, you can remake. Otherwise, you play the game.

You're not making sense.

The system is: If you have an actual AFK/DC player, you can remake.

The system is NOT: if you're unhappy about the champions being picked/roles/are angry at things, you can remake.

Actually remake was only made so people don't go 4v5, but RITO didn't say we can't disconnect so the game is remade, just cause you're a butthurt rule follower doesn't mean you make sense.

Kid, they're intentionally disconnecting so that they can restart the game and not lose LP. That's abuse of the system.

Actually they said your duo also loses LP if you are in Diamond+. But his boosted friend was in a Diamond match while he was Gold, so he doesn't lose LP.

Note for ranked: To protect competitive integrity, Diamond V and above players will also take a loss when the dc’d player is in their premade; We’ll keep an eye on this restriction to see if it needs to extend to lower ranks

He dodged the game so that his duo would not lose LP. Period. Get out of EU Bronze before trying to start shit.

So you're telling me you're actually fine if someone on your team disconnects intentionally, and you don't mind losing LP from this?

This fact is getting as similar as how people hate seeing Malzahar in Jungle because "he's a mid laner hurr durr".

Not really abusing. IMO the duo were really nice players. Imagine the following scenario:

Let's say I'm a Shaco main and a random dude in my team is a Syndra main. I'm first pick and don't want to pic Shaco first because he's easy to counter. Syndra happens to be a FotM champion at the moment (just an hypotesis), so we agree to swap.

I pick my Runes, Masteries and Summoner spells for Jungle Shaco. She picks her Runes, Masteries, and Summoner spells for Mid Syndra.

In those last 30 seconds in which you're allowed to swap, I have the urge to take a big shit and run to the bathroom. Unnable to swap, we have a Smite Ignite Syndra with AD runes and a Flash Ignite Shaco with AP and Mana regen.

The team is completely fucked. Me and Syndra are faced with two options: Play champions we have no clue how to play and doom 3 people who had nothing to do with it to lose. Or one of us can Disconect, take the loss and the queue punishment, and allow the team to remake, saving those 3 innocent people from suffering because of our mistakes.

Not to mention that winning against a team that made this sort of mistake doesn't reflect your skill. Any LP you gain is equal to the LP gained by a boosted player.

How about this. Imagine you're being boosted and YOU forgot to swap champions because YOU decided to afk in champ select. Don't worry, you don't have to lose LP because you're boosting buddy will DC for you so that you don't have to lose LP. They do not care about the other 3 players, they just don't want to have to re-boost a game that they fucked up. If I were in the situation, I would be solo and I'd just have to play it out. It's part of the game. But since he has a duo, he can just have his friend DC so that only one of them have to lose LP.

Well, it only harms to booster. Boosting is a different problem. There is no reason to fuck up normal players because of a few assholes.

The guy who "DC'd" was a Blitzcrank with smite and his Duo, which he has 100% win rate with over 15 games, was WW with exhaust. As soon as the game started his Duo ran down mid sitting afk at my turret for me to kill him over and over until 3 minutes. He knew his duo was not coming back. If he thought he'd be coming back or didnt know, he would have played normally.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT THE REASON WAS, THE PROBLEM IS THAT HE DISCONNECTED INTENTIONALLY TO AVOID LP LOSS FOR HIS DUO PARTNER
