MOST OF THEM are just AWFUL at solo lanes and anything other than just janna or sona.

im so tired of these sona janna mains getting adc and solo lanes only to be so FUCKING useless.

im so tired of carrying these fucking braindead teammates who have no idea what the fuck they are even doing.

this caitlyn didnt move ONCE. continued to walk into the enemy team and suicide and i had to pick up her slack. guess what? was a d5 sona 1 trick.

This may be a surprise but I want to learn other roles at some point too. Always going support since no one else ever does can get repetitive if it's 95% of your games for 4 years.

then go for it man. go play some normals and try out every role. pick the one u like most and make it ur secondary. dont just stick to janna support or whatever and expect to play lulu top or mid when you're autofilled.

i dont think you understand what i was saying. i know what support does. i just dont enjoy having a 1 trick janna player on jungle or adc or mid.

they cant do a single thing correctly because they arent used to mechanics or the lane itself.

to give a janna 1 trick any other lane but support would be giving that team a handicap.

every single time they have went 0-0 20 minutes in and refuse to budge or do a single thing but afk.

they are TOO scared to do anything so it makes it a 4v5 for so damn long/

I feel like this isn't a support exclusive thing. I've seen many mids that just are the Worst at jungle. Or a top laner that can't ADC. Or in my case a support that can't ADC. Some people just don't want to go through the trouble of learning two roles.

Yeah I understand, trust me it's not fun when I play ADC as a tanks support main, I just wanted to point out this isn't a support exclusive thing, although it majorly affects supports.

On the one hand, it seems half-reasonable to let support primaries not have a secondary role.. Since support is the least represented role.

However, we have to ask ourselves what it means to climb the ladder. Does a player who can play support @ challenger level, but everything else at bronze, really belong to be in challenger? I don't think so.

lol? have u seen diamond 5+ lately?there are so many boosted support mains who got lucky or duo q boosted into that elo that its actually nearly every game .

once they get put into any other lane they pick teh safest champ and hope their team can carry.

ive seen this firsthand in d2. everyone in high elo knows this. you can tell who 1 tricks support and who doesnt and when you get 2 support mains on one team you're the team with the disadvantage because that unlucky support is going to play their secondary role poorly.

I just play Morgana mid or top. I used to adc so can do that without completely sucking. Usually a tank if I get jg. Poppy or Shen (both of which I played a lot of as a Support).

yes but poppy and shen jungle arent the best. if you were an actual jungler you would abuse the meta ones and it would make a big difference. but since you're not that good with jungle you pick the safe champs and become a disadvantage that our team has.

I've tried Nidalee. It went badly. Very badly.

It's generally better to pick for comfort than it is to play meta/fotm, if you have zero experience on those higher tier picks. I managed to do okay on the rare occasions I end up as jungler, because I at least had pretty gokd champion familiarity on my picks.

Either way, I'd rather have my jungler on something they know how to play that is at least servicable than on a meta pick they are clueless about, so I figure others feel the same way when I'm in a role I don't play much.

Just don't feed.

I would not limit this to supports. If you are gonna one-trick a top laner (say, darius), don't try to support. If you are gonna one-trick a midlaner (say, syndra), don't try to jungle. If you are gonna one-trick a support (aka sona), don't play adc. I can say I am a proud support main, and I can still carry games from mid or jungle or adc. Not so much top, but my point is still clear.

It's really the one-tricks that you're pissed at, not the supp mains.

Still not a "1 trick" if you can play those champs "on a good level". "1 trick" means you are only good at 1 thing, so I do understand (though if there is any misunderstanding the way you phrase your intent is rather poor)

What I truly don't understand though is why you feel like need to justify being a "1 trick" when there is more advantages to being "on a good level" with other champs too.

Considering the fact that I have around 500 wins in total and considering the fact that I started playing in preseason, lets assume that means Ive played about 800 games this season. And even I know thats majorly low balling because I play league a TON.

doing some simple elementary school math, thats only 20% of the total games Ive played are ranked. In other words I dont play ranked that much. I rest my case.

As a support main whenever i get put into another role i just play a support like lulu mid or naut jungle.....the only problem is adc....thats where i play urgot

Well every support (such as every other role/lane ?) main should be able to play, let's say, 4-5 champs on every other lane/role. I mean, players know they won't get their preferred lane everytime. Train something else.

Basically you don't have to blame them if they succeed (Saw a nice Zyra jungle player that didn't got flamed at all). But i totally agree with you, people have to think before going into a yolo pick (Because yolo pick =/= off-meta pick. Forgive me if I'm wrong). Main support there by the way.

It's not just supports, but any one trick getting a role besides their main. The majority of my ranked games have been Sona, but I really don't feed when placed into other lanes. I feel like all support mains should try to learn a role BESIDES support.

every single time i had a support only player get autofilled to any other role than support, they either feed or do nothgin whatsoever that entire game.

im complaining that support mains specifically should not be autofilled if they ONLY play shit like janna. its a handicap to the teammates who have to play for an extra person because some degenerate janna 1 trick has to play a champ with braincells needed to do something.
