When i was dueling wu kong just now in a game every time i used Jax's E to dodge Wu's attack Wu Kong's Q went through every time with Trinity Force spell blade hitting too. If im not mistaken spell blade procs only hit on basic attacks and spells that apply on hit effect Wu Kong's Q is a hit empowerment spell not a regular spell and doesnt say that it applies on hit effects.

Yes. But there's a difference between an Empowered attack and a Basic attack.
