Was wondering if riot could fine tune the match making so that you put people who don't give up together and people who do together cause i find it highly annoying that people who just cant shove mid give up as say that we cant win, its a waste of their time, and a great one i just really want to go eat. T hese people are largely people who screw with my ranked promotion games and that second game that you have on 0 lp to see if you get demoted

Normals: We where winning and at nexus my team "Premade" forfeited at nexus.
Rank: i was taking inhib tower and my team forfeit, because they lost there lanes and the enemy team only took the first outer towers.

just understand that i was giving my personal opinion on this subject. i wasnt saying what i do was right or wrong. if i am doing good and team is doing bad ill hit no because i believe we can still try . the other 4 can still surrender. but if i am doing bad and team is doing good i wont surrender. because i know the team can still win.

LordGeovanni1 votesif you tend to group each of these people quitters have an easier time quitting so they can start another game. and guys who will fight to the finish get to enjoy all their games. personally i dont find it fun playing with people crying over every little mistake some one makes and and quitting cause they dont have a clear winning patch from 5 mins in. you can make wrong moves, be targeted or not have the help you need and die alot and that doesnt necessarily mean the person is intentionally feeding but its really hard to tell people that in league and they dont act like a selfrightous dick who thinks you are a selfrightious dick
Austin Covello1 votesNormally, I don't like to surrender, and I don't like seeing the other team tap out at 20, either. Our team has to be VERY far gone before I'll agree to a surrender, and sometimes not even then. Of course, I won't bitch if they surrender either, but if there's a "no" vote on that team, I'm probably it. OTOH, it annoys me a lot more these days when the other team surrenders, particularly when, IMO, their situation is salvageable. For example, we win lane across the board, but the kill scores are 13 to 12, so you can tell we had to work for it. That's the makings of a pretty competitive game, and then the other side just GIVES UP!!! Pisses me off. You wish you could report them for something, but to date, you can't report someone just for surrendering.

thatdude20901 votesI literally just won a game that seemed lost at 20 minutes when a Riven got fed. She was all over the map and killing everyone. Our ADC wanted to surrender even though I got her a good amount of kills in bot lane. We basically just turtled up and played real safe for near 30 minutes, focusing on getting picks on a split pushing Jax (since he lost lane hard against Gnar) and whenever the rest of their team would overextend. We eventually got the advantage and won the game.
Real fun game, even though it seemed like a loss so early.
Sayuri1 votesHad a ranked game before where I was 14/3 on Trist but my team would always fight without me no matter how many times I asked them to wait. I would make it there at the end to clean up. It was the one game I managed a pentakill in ranked. We didn't have a single teamfight with all 5 of us but we were still winning. Then the 4 of my team mates surrendered.
On the flip side, had another ranked game where the enemy team had a huge gold lead. They were pushed to our nexus turrets. There's no way we should have still been in it but instead of ending they decided to get baron. Our kha managed to jump in and steal and we were able to get 2nd mid tower. Turtled it out some more. They go for baron again and he steals again and we get an inhib out of it. Turtled out some more and killed them and then we did baron on our own and were finally able to win. Longest game ever but so glad we didn't surrender.
I think this is a good idea. I pretty much never accept surrender in ranked because i've seen too many great comebacks.
