In all my time of playing League of Legends, I have never experienced so many short games.

I have been playing League of Legends intermittently since late 2013, and I have never experienced so many short games. It seems like at least 70% of the games I play in, the game is over by 25 minutes. In my experiences, damage is absurd, towers are made of wet paper, and if any champion goes 3/0 in lane, let alone someone like LeBlanc or Jayce, their team will pretty much be guaranteed to win. Stomps are no fun to lose, because everyone starts the blame game over who fed the 17-3 @20 mins LeBlanc. Stomps are no fun to win, because every single skirmish results in a decisive victory. Even worse, the surrender timer is still 20 minutes, and by then, the game is likely already 27-7.

What happened to the strategy involved in this game, where one had to make the decision about which items to buy to shut down the opponent? What happened to the time when every ADC didn't get nuked by every non-ADC? What happened to the time when you could go back to base without giving up the first tower? What happened to the time when games lasted a good 40 minutes, when superior strategy decided the victory rather than the 5 minute mark? I am starting to lose interest in the game because 70% of matches are being decided by which team is ahead at 5 minutes. Riot, I beg you, please do something to fix these problems!

Roll a smurf until they fix it. Go outside. Play another game.
