I need a little advice for playing malphite top,
Presently my runes are,
Grasp of the undying, demolish, conditioning, overgrowth.
Manaflow band and nimbus cloak
And I typically build one of these ways (depending on opposing comp)
Mostly AD:
Mostly AP:
Any critiques?

OurLestrade1 votesI've never been a fan of Stoneplate. It makes sense on Malphite since there's no way to prevent him from diving into the enemy unlike a lot of other tanks, but generally I prefer the ol' reliable of straight up tank items without the uncertainty. Sunfire, that sort.

Yeh I had RoA and rylai's for HP + AP and Rylai's lovely slow effect

on the mostly ap build you have ROA and MASK which both share the 
build path and passive which is a waste of stats /gold
personally i build him 
as my core items. then everything from there is situational depending vs ap or ad.
but then again i build maokai pretty much the same way with the same core items.
you dont need rylais for a slow cuz your Q already slows. you arent really going to proc the slow passive with any other ability to make it efficient to dump into.
if you wanna be ad malphite you can go 
into tank.
MrFawknSunshine1 votesas far as runes, grasp + demolish if you think you can get turret pressure if not or vs harass bone plating is better, conditioning is ideal but second wind is ok vs harass and overgrowth is alright but to me it just feels egh but malphite could use the extra hp. then Secondary i would go manaflow band. you cant get both manaflow band and nimbus its in the same row. so that being considered i go manaflow + transcendence to get more cdr and if you over build cdr you get a lil extra damage out of it. scorch is a very under used rune and can help with early game damage in lane alot.
