Over half my gold ranked games this season have had boosters in them.

I've played about 80 games so far on a couple accounts trying to get platinum but I'm about to just quit. Not because I won't get there but just because these games are never enjoyable. I'm not joking when I say at least 40 of these games have had obvious boosters in them. And most of the time those boosters are premade with other boosters. I've even had a couple games (2 or 3) that had at least 7 boosters in the game, all the way up to games with all 9 other players being boosters.

Combine this with how many games snowball out of control this season due to poor game design or matchmaking, and you're lucky to get even 5% of your games to be enjoyable, close games between evenly matched teams.

I honestly doubt that. I bet you wouldn't even be able to tell me FIVE matches were you had a smurf on the enemy team.

It's not just smurfs on the enemy team. It's also smurfs on my team. Like I said, the issue isn't that I can't win games, the issue is that 95% of the games I play this season are complete stomps. Even the ones that are kind-of-even are usually because both teams are getting curbstomped by a couple obvious smurfs/boosters.

And then even in the games where there aren't any obvious smurfs or boosters, they're still stomps because this season is made to snowball games to hell.

Which games did you have smurfs in, and explain why they weren't the avergage skill level of your rank.

I would like to attest there ARE smurfs in ranked. 90% udyr, kennen 2 separate player smurfs. I say every match has at least one as matches are never balanced.

a booster is someone with redonculous win rates across everything they play, almost like they are playing out of their league. a good game is someone with like a 60% win rate on their main champ and then you look at this game in particular and their KDA is 6 - 1 this time, up from their normal 2 KDA. fine lets say 20-0 they're amazing this time around, you check their profile and its either all snowballs or mostly average which gives it away.

in addition you see of last 20 games has played with XXXX YYYY ZZZZ 80% of the time

I picked up Taric recently and I bet some of my opponents thought I was a booster taking over the account when I went 14/2 with a pretty insane KDA. Especially when I won 7 in a row. I would like to think that people in Gold/Plat elo have even better swings when they jive with a champ they're playing for the first time.

By watching how they play, not what their score is.

If you have good mechanics in high gold/low plat it must be boosting? Where's the logic in that?

There is a huge difference between low plats and high diamonds, and it's obvious as hell if you know what you're looking at.

why you think people create smurfs/ use friends account to boost them? because theyre tired of their main account being trolled all the time so they play on lower accounts to have more fun... which creates the situation we ahve here : worst season even worse than lasts worlds.
