Reminder: The mastery Double-Edged Sword effectively lets everyone do 7.5% more damage

It's a tier 4 Ferocity mastery (so you can get it by putting 12 points in Ferocity) that almost everyone takes. If 2 champions in opposite teams have this mastery, they do 7.5% more damage to each other.

It's just one of so many masteries that increase damage, and is not even a keystone (Fervor gives 64 AD after 4 melee autos and TLD have 180 base damage and high scaling, etc).

And people wonder why damage is so high, why squishies (ADCs lul?) blow up quickly, and why tanks do unreasonable damage.

People SHOULD stop complaining about how much damage they take when they opt into a talent that makes them take more damage. On this we agree.

There should be a tank version of it in the resolve tree. Take 5% less damage but deal 2.5% less damage.

Remember when Double-Edged Sword was 1.5/3% bonus damage?

Good times.

sory, but your math is off. If you deal 105% damage, and i take 102.5%, the overall increase in damage campared to 100/100 is 1.05*1.025 = 1.07625, so 7.625% increased damage comapred to without the mastery on both sides.
