Shyvana's Dragon's Decent should completely push enemies to its landing location and then stun them

I think the CC on Shyvana's ultimate is very underwhelming; all it does is displace targets caught by an inch and then fly over them. It has a minimal impact in teamfights especially since Shyvana, as a tank, is supposed to use it as an initiation. In addition, its slow and telegraphed, can also be very easily stopped with any CC mid-flight.

The fact that Shyvana has no CC anywhere else in her kit, and she's a tank, means that her ult has to feel pretty impactful. I believe giving her ultimate more powerful and impactful CC would be the right buff for her, since she's struggling a bit. It also is very thematically fitting.

Just add a QoL buff where enemies are knocked back all the way to the landing location instead of just by an inch, and then probably add a mini stun like 0.75s afterwards. Thoughts?

she's a dps tank, people are pretty okay with dps tanks not having hard cc :l

The consistent knock-back distance would be nice. But the stun would be overkill.

Shyvana's big thing is that she's a ball of stats and pumps out a lot of mixed damage (AoE during ult - which is nearly always up), in addition to dealing %max health damage. She's already hard to build against and does her job exceedingly well. Adding more CC could break her.

Right now the meta just doesn't favor her. That's not indicative of her being strong or weak, there are just better picks at the current time.

Most of the power in her ult comes from the fact that it makes her tankier and makes all her normal abilities better.

If she was to have hard CC attached to the ult, then something else would have to be nerfed, either on her ult or somewhere else in her kit

Shyv is very balanced atm, the only thing i would like to see done for her is to ensure that the knockback always happens, an that the dash is uninterruptable.

I wouldn't really say Shyvana is a tank.... she is a fighter/bruiser Shyvana has damage like bruisers and fighters not CC/utility like tanks

no stun that would be over kill. but make the dragon dive uninterruptable and the knock back actually knock them back and not just make them stumble a "TINY" bit cause she is a dragon after all. riot has said shyvana ult is underwhelming but they wont do anything to fix it because she sees pro play.

The issue I have with Shyv is that she doesn't do her theme any justice. You hardly get to be in Dragon form because it dissipates too fast. Furthermore, it isn't classified as unstoppable when it really really needs to be. I can't imagine why Riot wouldn't give her this, they have no good reason not to.

If you consider that the improved basic abilities are a part of the ultimate then you realise it is very strong and impactful. While the initial jump may be weaker, overall is it a brilliant ability.

A 0.75 second stun and extra displacement isn't "Quality of Life." Its a pretty significant buff.

What are you willing to give up for this to happen? She seems fairly balanced ATM to me. I could be wrong, admittedly.

That being said, you also called Shyvana a tank. You're sorely mistaken here-- She is a fighter/bruiser. She builds fairly tanky, but this is like calling Jax a tank. Tanks don't do that sort of damage, they mostly provide CC. Fighters/bruisers do some pretty serious damage given how tanky they can build while doing it.

Honestly I think her ult should just be uninteruptable. It can be stopped by the lowliest of roots and it just completely makes her ult so underwhelming when it happens (which is quite often due to her increased model size).

Shyvanna isn't a tank tho, there is very few true tanks in this game in the first place. Nautilus Braum Alistar Sion DrMundo

She's a bruiser, just like Olaf Volibear Zac Nasus Singed Gragas JarvanIV Chogath .

They all build damage and do a lot of damage overall instead of having CC/protection focus.

I'm perfectly fine with how shyvana is right now. I'm not fine with my ult sometimes not dealing damage to enemies hit by it.

Also I'd like to be able to cast W/E/Q in mid air while ulting so I can burn a path while flying.. that would be so cool @.@... ooh I'd like that and I just thought of it.. yes plz

I would like it if the hit box was fixed, it's a dragon and it feels like half a teemo in size.

Maybe if it dragged enemies a little more or just pushed them to the side like a vi ultimate.
I really would like to see an AOE fear at her landing point, because honestly if a huge dragon appeared in front of me I would just be like "k" then walk to the side, I would probably be too scared to do anything but panic.

I would also like to see the delay taken off her Dragon's Descent, as it stands, it can be a little difficult to even hit someone with it since there's a half second delay when you activate it, and Shyvana actually uses it.
