Reminder: Quinns ult can't be used in combat or to escape combat in most situations.

What should be an amazing mobility tool is basically a +20 movement speed buff and loss of ranged attacks on a massive cooldown. Quinn's ult in combat is an all or nothing charge that uses her vault to attempt a kill, and if it doesn't work she loses her harrier speed buff and almost every cool down for a bad execute.

The execute values are complete trash compared to others in the game, cough (16% missing hp Lee Sin Q on 4 sec cd. OR Riven's 300% damage ult), the low base damage gets a 1% per 1% missing, at rank 1 it's max damage is 300 physical damage from a severely injured opponent.

As an escape it's basically 100% useless unless you begin using it before they are in combat range, which can be said for anyone with the ability to walk, period. If you enter combat as Valor, you are basically a melee champion with an enemy target dash and ALL MOVEMENT DEBUFFS all but snare you. The only catch to this is that you can use Valor to possibly get a better position for vault, but, really, an ULTIMATE?

TL;DR: If you are snowballing on Quinn you can assassinate bad people split pushing, or you can suicide dive and pray your team saves you. It doesn't come back soon enough for it's pathetic damage, the time it allows you excess movement speed doesn't justify its cool down, and finally, it makes you complete garbage trying to run away if any movement impair hits you since you lose your passive kiting ability.

Doesn't Valor have a permanent attack speed buff compared to Quinn who only gets it on Harrier procs? That's something I guess.

You gain attack speed as Valor based off your investment in your Heightened Senses/(passive) ability, however, it's extremely hard to stick to people when being in combat basically makes you move at normal speed to the point where ranged champions can kite you.

Harrier procs increase human Quinn's movement and attack speed. It's arguable that she has better chase potential as a human due to the flexibility of Vault and her Phage-passive.

The execute values are low due to the fact you can pop Skystrike during vault for extra Harrier damage and a ranged AA right after. Additionally, you point out that it's not useful as an escape, which is the entire point. If Valor could not only find, chase and engage onto everyone while also being able to escape basically anything, he'd be insanely overpowered. Combo this with the fact Valor has one of the highest sustained DPS in the entire game at level 18, do you really want a monster like that to also have a reliable escape after you've managed to sneak up to him and close the gap?

By the way, if you're wondering, I main Quinn. She's likely my most played champion, although that's hard to track due to the fact I mainly play normals.

Quinn main here with 400+ games on her:

Get BoTRK to slow the enemy. This will help you escape. Get Zephyr for the Tenacity... will also help you escape. Use flash only as an escape tool and not an engage. (rare circumstances will have you flash engage but they are rare)

You can get Frozen Mallet to also slow enemies if you want. Boots of Swiftness also reduce slowing effects by 25%

Finally you can get QSS to remove CC. With all of those items, you can easily escape as Valor.

"If you are snowballing on Quinn you can assassinate bad people split pushing, or you can suicide dive and pray your team saves you."

You can assassinate ANYONE. You should never ever be suicide diving. Why would you do that?
