I lost LP because I couldn't pick a champion. Help?

I queued up for Ranked. I get into Champion Select, and then my League freezes. I can't pick a champion, and then I wait a bit. Then I check my profile, and I lost LP. This happened twice in a row, so I lost 13 LP. Is there anything I can do about this?
