So, this morning I was in Silver IV, and my friend was in Bronze II. We decided to duo and went on a small winning spree, and I ended up in Silver III with him in Bronze I. Afterwards, another friend of mine calls our duo-ing "elo-boosting". Soo... 1.) Is this really "elo-boosting"?
Nothing wrong with duoing. Person who's saying you're elo-boosting is incorrectly using the term.

Correct me if i am wrong, but doesnt the game disallow two players from duoing in Ranked if one is significantly higher ranked than the other? I mean something like Platinum II playing with a Bronze IV
If i am correct, then the game itself allowed you two to duo. It looked at your Elos and said ''This is not elo-boosting, carry on.''
Unless you are a Platinum+ Smurf, no, the person that accused you two is just butt hurt.
