Daily (kappa) reminder: DQ issues aren't as simple as "Fucking over solos for the sake of premades"

Because solos and premades are often the same summoners. But I guess "DQ is fucking over [me] for the sake of [me]" is a little harder to raise our pitchforks to.

I play ranked ~90% solo, and ~10% premade. Some part of me dislikes DQ, because my rank doesn't feel as meaningful. Another part of me likes it, because I've been able to play competitively with friends more than I ever have in the past.

So I don't want DQ gone, exactly. I want DQ changed so my mostly-solo rank feels like t's worth something. Maybe it is possible to get the best of both worlds.

the premades (the group that DQ is actually intended for) will not use the forum, especially to complain about something that absolutely works for them, therefore this poll is useless. the solos will (almost) always want soloQ back, from what I can read on just the first page of the boards, and they probably came on the forum unhappy with the way things are going atm, like me, hoping for a glimpse of change in the near future, wondering if they are alone in the struggle bla bla

It would be useless if I wanted to know what most players are playing.

I wanted to know what summoners who read the Boards play.

And I'm just saying, as a heads up, the last option is useless, and the rest will have the outcome that they have as of yet, because right now, a good percent of the boards is formed of people like me who are unhappy of soloq. You didn't need a poll to know that, just look at the threads on the first page of the boards.

This thread gives me a distribution. Boards upvote tendencies only give a sentiment.

I guess I'll also mention the secondary goal. When people vote in the poll, they're engaging with the thread. It gets the people who would just skim and move on to spend a couple extra seconds in the thread, and maybe some of them will end up joining the discussion down here.

Don't know how much help I can be, as I don't really care for ranked. (But that doesn't actually have anything to do with DQ)

But seeing as norms was never really solo (or Solo/duo) I really haven't really seen any difference, other than the new champ select.

So I can only guess that DQ is mainly a ranked integrity problem, and even if I did play ranked, I probably wouldn't have enough game to judge.

This is a very interesting poll, but the sample is not representative. I'd like to see stats about this question from Riot, who can directly access the truth without the need to resort to polls.

This should never have been an either/or. Riot needs to work on a way to offer both solo queue and dynamic queue.

If not, I remember your post had a lot of effort behind it, and I wouldn't feel comfortable providing feedback in the short amount of time I have right now.

There was already a 'Team Ranked' queue prior to the implementation of DQ and destruction of SQ.
