Rageblade needs to be replaced or reworked.
It's been abused enough already this season m 1st Jax, now Yi, Xin, and Kog etc. I get that Riot wants this item to be usable, but in it's current state it can't be balanced properly.

It's doing exactly what Riot intended it to do and I would be very surprised if it saw any more changes other than perhaps another slight cost increase.

This
The stats are fine. The problem is the cost.
Infinity Edge is 3600. Deathcap is 3800. There's no reason Rageblade shouldn't be in there as well.
It shouldn't cost much more unless the build path is improved. Buying blasting wand and pickaxe then 1050 already feels bad enough. Maybe replacing the pick with a BF would work (given that Guinsoo's gives more than a BF after 4 stacks)
Rageblade's onhit doesn't even work with runaans.
Rageblade's onhit doesn't even work with runaans.
Idk if I wish it did or not. Sounds funny but stupid OP
The on-hit does work with Runaan's, it just doesn't stack any faster.
Does it for the extra two shots?
No I witnessed a Kog'maw with both of the items and his auto attacks didn't make his Rageblade stack any faster.
The stacks are ON ATTACK, the proc is ON HIT
Yeah that's my point.
The whole point was that the on hit works with the RH bolts. The point was about the on hit not the stacking because RH effectively triples rageblades proc damage.
That's exactly what I want to say. It's just that I misunderstood Retillin's question.
Abilities with on-hits or bolts from Runnan's Hurricane do not provide additional stacks for Guinsoo's Rageblade because the stacks from Rageblade stack up on-attack. However, since the splash AOE damage is on-hit. It affect bolts from Runnan's Hurricane, making bolts emit the same AOE splash damage.
You don't have to explain everything really. I am capable of searching through the wiki, but thanks.
The AoE does, but it only stacks on attack. The orbs don't make it stack any faster.
it doesn't but its aoe. so it doesn't matter
LOL you think those champs abuse it? maybe for kog, MAYBE.

Rageblade is op as hell, have you tried it on Leona? she can do 3 hits with her Q really fast and get 6 stacks from it!
Trollpost...not a single champion that builds Rageblade is viable at a decent elo or competitive play except Kog Maw who is just broken in general.

If this game was balanced entirely around decent elo/competitive play then Kat wouldn't of received nerfs <3
Yeah you can blame the low elo kids for that. Look where Katarina is now..borderline useless. Guess that's what happens RIot listens to the crying of a community where 80% are silver or Bronze.

Kat was actually strong before the nerfs, though. Even now, she isn't as easy to counter as she seems. Yes, she is easy to counter during the lane phase, but it requires a great amount of team coordination to stop her because she will roam, she will get kills, she will snowball and she will have the potential to destroy on teamfights. Team coordiation is something that is incredibly difficult to have on SoloQ, especially on lower elos.
This isn't to say that Kat is not balanced, just that calling other "low elo kids" because Kat has been nerfed is not fair.
Take
for example, he has been the reverse of Katarina. Balanced at lower elos, but incredibly OP on very high elo and at competitive play. Just because he has been nerfed for that part of game, does that mean that we have the right to insult high elos for that?
Riot has already explained that they will try to make every champion balanced for all elos.
What makes more sense, balancing for the game played at its highest level or for people who don't understand the game? I will go with option 1.

Balancing using the higher level people as reference is different from not balancing for every elo.
High elo and competitive players are the best references for champion balance, and Riot itself has already explained that, but that does not necessarily mean that they can't balance champions for lower elos if they prove to be broken there.
Then look at what it has lead to? Katarina is basically a trollpick right now, so is Akali. Just because people in Bronze got stomped by them.

Not at all. Katarina is viable at higher elos as a counterpick to teams that do not have CC, have only one CC, or have unreliable CCs to stop her.
As for Akali, she is pretty viable now with that tanky build
the problem with rageblade isnt that removal or even rework is absolutely necessary, its that it's super cheap and gives a ton of stats with the arguement that before you get fully stacked the item is bad but once you do it's good. In reality they really need to increase the cost to somewhere over the 3k mark and put its raw stats right onto the item instead of balancing it around the idea that it is only op when it's fully stacked because it will always get fully stacked.
Devourer shouldnt stack it faster
Make it give only one stack per auto for melee champions, and then balance kog maw since he is the only ranged character that abuses it so hard.
