It truly feels unfair to be an ADC in this game
I want to go down a typical game for an ADC and I want someone to tell me how it is fair:
-
You have to deal with a support. Often times, the support doesn't want to be a support and sometimes may even try to be a second ADC.
-
You have to deal with two opponents. Currently, most supports are ranged and they are quite strong. Sona and Lux deal more damage than I will early on.
-
You split XP with your support, so you end up 1-4 levels down everyone else at all times, through no wrong doing of your own.
-
The ADC's have awful early game items and if you are getting owned in lane, it could be 14 minutes before you get a real item.
-
Your hp/armor are awful.
-
You don't have escapes and even if you do, with people like Talon it doesn't matter. Try escaping when he can just jump over every wall in the game.
-
The assassins can one combo you at any time during the game. Doesn't matter if you are up 100 cs, a few levels or 10 kills. You meet an assassin, you are dying.
-
The turrets aren't very helpful right now. I just lost a t1 turret in under 6 minutes.
-
You have to work harder than anyone else to get CS. You have to buy a farming item like a Run's or a Shiv just to get decent CS.
-
Any missteps and you are dead.
-
The only point of your existence is hoping that the game goes 40 minutes. Anything less than that and you are going to be irrelevant. And most games aren't going that long.
It's sad to play ADC. It's often times humiliating and it never feels fair. I'd even be willing to say ADC's are weaker than a lot of supports right now and that the ADC's are the real supports of the game.
