How do I keep up my farm during the mid game as an assassin?

It seems like I'm constantly either being cut off from side lanes by my greedy ADC, or everyone is fighting 24/7 and I am constantly having to rotate, how do I balance farming and fighting as a mid lane assassin during the mid / late game?

I typically will give my farm if I’m doing well to one if my laners that can carry just as hard.

If I’m already snowballing I give my farm to other people so they are also useful making the game a 5v5 and not a 4v5 with that one laner that can’t do anything.

Catch side lanes. Usually, especially if you’re ahead, no one can contest you. Plus you have escapes. Always take control wards to set up vision in case someone tries to come fight or collapse on you.

ur probably roaming at bad times if your losing too much farm. if EVERYONE is fighting 24/7 then it doesnt matter how much farm you have as long as you are ahead of ur laner. most of the time u should be roaming when ur laner backs/ lane is shoved and you can roam and get back before shoved back into you. plus other scenarios

One thing you can do, this is if you're team is on the offensive mind you, is farm enemy jungle between pushing and resetting lanes. Jungle is a lane too, and you can deny the enemy jungle farm and take them for yourself. Plus, by mid game, those camps have been cleared a couple times and have leveled up.
