Champions have strenths and weakness and things that stop them from doing what they want.

I get told alot of the time marksmen are early to mid game champions but does any one see that when late game comes marksmen and crit carries have items and masteries just with aiming for damage and crit that give them healing, mana healing, damage, damage amplification, MR, hp, mana, cdr, attack speed and movement speed. only thing crit carries dont get in their build path is armor and ap now. only ap casters got all these things available for them in the design before but ap casters dont constantly stream out damage they they do it in bursts (well except for assassins who burst and and burst again and burst again so its less burst just constant high damage) and didnt get everything on basic autoattacks.

I think your problem is that you just dumped ALL Marksmen into one big bucket. We have Burst Carries Graves, Utility Carries Ashe, and Hyper Carries Vayne. To categorize all three into one big generalization, especially the nearly diametrically opposed early to mid game Burst Carries vs the mid to late game Hyper Carries, is simply going to leave you scratching your head wondering why some Marksmen are wrecking your squishies early and others are melting your tanks late.

vayne is one of the main champs people tell me is bad late game % max hp true damage is bad at any point in the game? none of those champions have trouble early game except versus other marksmen and constant ganks every 3 odd mins. and they all build simuplarly and put down enemies with a .5 -1 seconds diffrence in a sustained fight assumeing the enemy team is about equal and doesnt have a fed assassin

Vayne is one of the premier mid to late game marksman. Whoever told you that is lying to you. Or stupid.

And to say none of them have any trouble early game is a grievous overstatement, given Kog'Maw still exists.
