Yi gets outscaled late game

6/3 wtih 140 cs yi lose to a fight to 1/5 with 122 cs nasus (we are both top laners and I owned him early to mid game then he started to own me)

And BTW since Yi cannot be slowed he technically counters Nasus nor he can stop Yi's meditate

Just it really makes me mad when i see stupid BS like this when i am so ahead and get owned by someone that is so behind. VS Nasus is not the only case here

[Highlander + Ghost] < [Ekko's ms bonus passive]. [Ult 85 sec cd + Summoner Spell 180 sec cd] < Passive Ability with no cooldown

Yi ain't tank and lacks any burst or CC, while some champions are tanky with burst and CC on top of that

Upon Takedown Yi gets 70% cooldown refunded while kata gets full Resets

So what compensates for all these weaknesses cause I am kinda pissed off when i am so ahead to get owned by someone who is so behind cause balance

No tabi vs Nasus, little attack speed, poor keystone for the match up, troll defensive item, last whisper was pretty "meh" it helps but at that point you needed a big item or you just lose.

Next time you get a 10 minute item 3153 go item 3047 item 3124 . Idk the exact best build after that for top lane Yi, but I imagine some life steal item (Preferably hydra) into a GA plus phantom dancer and you would have been a god.

GP runs Kleptomancy and deal more damage than me when i run Precision and Sorcery

Well that's typically because Klepto let's you reach the late game faster than running something like precision. You shouldn't be running sorcery on yi as your second but instead resolve.

For GP just dodge his barrels with alpha then auto him to death if you're both on the same item level you'll win. If you're even in score and cs he will have more gold than you due to his Q + Klepto.

if you want to focus on duelling nasus alone (ignoring teamfight scenarios), you can. Black cleaver will shred his armor for your BoRK to eat into his HP, and Rageblade will double those procs through its interaction with double strike. However, you will then also need to survive the onslaught of 2 second 1k damage nukes. 3 damage items, 3 tank items. BoRK/Rageblade/Cleaver will give you sufficient offences to take down his defenses, tabi and sterak's will let you survive through burst, and thornmail will stop him from lifedraining you. That said, if his stacks are way too high, you won't win ever, except maybe with Lethal tempo.

I would suggest buying grievous wounds. He has natural sustain.

your build was god awful and your keystone makes 0 sense on top of having virtually no good sustain, rush bork ninja tabi, phantom dancer and mortal reminder/cleaver and for the love of god please just take press the attack or tempo, yi can actually be pretty good if you know half of what your doing but everything you did was so all over the place i have no idea how you got fed to begin with

I think item 3153 item 3124 item 3047 item 3046 + either press the attack or lethal tempo would've been great to duel Nasus. But yeah, in the current state of things, Yi is weak as hell and Nasus is pretty insane in 1v1's, sooo it shouldn't be a surprise if you lose the 1v1 to him.
