According to Champion.gg, Jhin, Hecarim, Darius, Janna, and Lux are the 5 best champions in Plat+ Ranked and the best in their respective roles.
They don't have the best win rates but they have consistent strong performance and decent pick rates.
I'm doing a project using statistics right know and I'd like to hear what some of the community thinks about the so-called best champs in League.

They're the 3 top ADCs but it looks like Jhin has consistently more assists while still maintaining high damage and kills with similar deaths and CS.

I really dont trust lux being OP though. I strongly believe vel can do anything better than her. He has this low playrate because well...

AcidTheWarlock1 votesI wouldn't say she's OP, just very good at making picks AND teamfighting.
Her kit's a little more supportive than Vel's, with a shield and a strong root.
He's much better at teamfights and sieging due to his crazy range and the waveclear they both bring is strong, but I can see Lux not being better as a champion but better as a teammate, and considering Champion.gg is Plat+, teamwork is massive.

she has a 40-44% win rate and not even faker can play her properly and you think non challenger peasants going 5-5 with 1:1 kda is how you play lux? thats taping into about 10% of champions potential
