Should support playstyle changes be next?

I'm really loving the marksman changes (at least on paper) so much. I appreciate the innovation riot is trying to do with the game---its exciting. Which is why i believe supports are in need of a similar treatment juggers and marksman are getting this coming year. Supports for the same reason marksman are getting changes--to leave more options and paths to take from the otherwise demanded play style that is enforced by the meta. Lets just be honest it is NICE to to have a support with a Rylais for example. It's optional, not necessary, but nice if and when you've the ability to get it once you've hit your luxury gold spike.

Now I'm expecting people who read this to react like "Well dummy you don't need non support items youre support buy supports items and shut up." Exactly. Like 100% (with the exception of Morde, the special case) marksman that just by a BF item and/or BoRK, Zerks, shiv/PA, and whisper, supports are off in the same boat in the sense that theres no real incentive to break from the mundane purpose of the role and still work it out at least with the apporval of your pub team. Buy your gold generation, sightstone, Mikaels, Solari, and whatever else after that is a luxury that depends on how your team is doing and how you're doing with them.

But now if Marksman are becoming more unique and less mundane, shouldn't supports get similar unique tweaks to synergize and better support these new changes to marksman and team as a whole? Even more so on the scale these other roles are getting now, i mean.

I hope this thread just doesn't attract people to downvote me and call me a dumb dumb for the sake of doing so as this is just me bringing my thoughts to the people that enjoy chewing on an amicable conversation and topic. But im sooper interested to hear any thoughts if anyone has them~ <3 :3
