The "Farming player Mindset"

The type of player I dislike the most in the game is the Farmer. I hate them, they bring nothing to the team. When you are playing in higher elo these players pretty much do not exist at some points because you are playing against players that counters that type of gameplay. But when you are between the Low Elo and High Elo these player tends to throw most of my games. Devourer an item I hate, not because its a strong item but the mindset it builds into players. If devourer didn't exist maybe the Xin zhao, shyvana would start early ganks? Your team is falling off and you are still farming your devourer after 20minutes. The enemies are at your base breaking down your turrets and inhibitor. Then you have the guts to blame us for feeding? How dare you? How dare you? There is a point that you should ask yourself should I stop farming my devourer and help my team? Yes you do! That Veigar needs your help, he gets camped by a Zed and Fizz what can you do? That poor wukong top getting bullied by renekton. That bottom lane MF and Sona getting towerdived all game by alistar and graves. DO SOMETHING HELP YOUR TEAM. All of this applies to Nasus players too. Can't we not encourage that type of gameplay? I prefer the stacking version of Casseopea instead of Nasus,Veigar and devourer.

Jungler isn't supposed to win you your lane... it is better to be down 20-30cs and play safe than also be down 1-2-3 kills and 20-30CS

If you know your jungler needs to farm up to hit a power spike, play around it. That's like asking WW to not farm to 6 and gank at level 3 with no CC, some junglers need to farm to hit that spike.

If you don't like the team comp, dodge. Or stay golden ponyboy :)

I don't believe the OP's point was to say it's the jungler's job to win your lane. The OP was saying more that if one of your lanes is countered (OMG you can be countered???) that you should ease up on the farming and try to give them a hand.

A good jungler doesn't allow one of their lanes to get camped without punishing it somehow. This could be by counter jungling, ganking another lane, or pressing objectives. The jungler's job is to be where his/her team needs them, not to simply farm until 20 minutes.

As the example stated - an MF/Sona lane will get bulled by Graves/Ali and can easily be dove at lvl 6. If you, as the jungler, allow this to happen multiple times, you are simply allowing the enemy bot lane to snowball to a point that your team cannot shut them down.

tl;dr - it's not about winning lane for someone. it's about helping your team win the game. durrr

That isn't so much a design failure on Riot's end, as it is a faulty player mindset

tbh, Shyv ganks early are trash tier, if she tries she won't even blow a flash and she'll just waste her time, and yours. Honestly, though, how hard is it to play safe if you have a farming jungler...? (Also, things like the bot lane MF+Sona facing Graves Ali with a devourer jungler means your team fucked up in drafting (or else they counterpicked you.)

Being counterpicked is a thing that has to be taken into consideration. Sometimes you can get counterpicked so hard that you really can't play safe without allowing the enemy team to snowball. A snowballed bot lane becomes the entire team's problem, so saying the jungler isn't supposed to win your lane for you is low elo ideology. The game isn't decided in lane unless you allow it to be.

You can't afk farm no matter who you're running. Junglers have to have a presence on the map or the enemy team could possibly snowball to a point that you can't even fight them once you have your sated devourer completed because you allowed them to stomp a lane you knew needed help.

I like to gank with devourer since

  1. Double kills in bot lane is equal to two stacks
  2. If 1. happens, you can get dragon for five more stacks.

You get stacks on kills and assists. Hasn't stopped and Xin Zhao's from ganking as far as I can tell.

It's all about how the team adapts to this kind of strategy. If you have allies who play like that (Nasus, devourer junglers) you need to stall the game as long as you can so they can reach their full potential and wreck the enemy. Similarly, when playing against them, you have to rush the enemy nexus before they become dangerous.

Your teammates picked farming champions? You should pick wave clear champions to drag out the game, kekek.

As a Nasus main, I will first tell you, good Nasus players do not "abandon' their team. They will be putting pressure on top or, when they have enough stacks to do something useful be chasing down the backline with their team. If you tell Nasus to do something early game, and he dies and you flame him, where will that get you? "They bring nothing to the team" the whole point of farming is to get an advantage mid to late game, where it will prove decisive, not to get a kill advantage early game, which could easily be reversed. Nasus item 3110 [slayer-pantheon-rainbows] summoner 12 summoner 6
