nerf edge of night for adc's harder than assassins
The main thing which this item does too well is protect someone for a long time. It is supposed to be for someone jumping in and living slightly longer. Since the duration is so long, adc's sit in the back with a spell shield entire team fights until its broken. Or they can use it defensively and potentially channel it while running away. When an assassin goes in, they know when. They are probably roaming from mid, coming from jg or flanking ect so they can time the shield properly as the aggressor.
If the channel time was increased slightly (1.5s to 2s?) and the duration was reduced (10s to 6s?) the item would function almost the exact same for an assassin who is GOING IN. Not sitting in the back for ten seconds wailing on everyone.
From there if it was decided that lethality is just too strong as a concept and the items are fine, they could play with the early pen ratio. Which was buffed from 40% to 60%, maybe they could try 50%?
has like a 120 second cooldown, last 2.5 seconds, and you can't even move! I believe the spellshield's cooldown should be increased to balance. And finally, if the spellshield doesn't break, it get's put on a 5 second cooldown? Personally, I think it will be better to remove that 5 second cooldown part. That way, it will allow the user to decide when it is really necessary to activate that item instead of activating it just because of paranoia, wait 5 seconds after nothing happens, and then activate it again. Seems pretty silly to me.
