I think the issue at hand isn't itemization for AD assassins, but cases of abuse
As everyone knows the new AD assassin item is coming soon, and theres quite a stir about the effects it'll have on the game (which is already riddled with problematic elements). I think most people don't think 'assassins shouldn't have specific items' but more along the lines of 'who's gonna abuse the shit out of this and make me miserable'
Right now, people are afraid of assassins like Zed or Talon becoming murdering machines with this one item, never mind having even more options at hand to counterbuild AP champs or armor, like
,
,
, etc.)
But not only that. The new item is NOT limited to melee champs, it can be used by ranged champs like marksman. Champs who already have assassination patterns but can reliably kill without such an item, now that really screams 'THIS ITEM IS GOING TO BE ABUSED TO HELL AND BACK AGAIN'
Say hello to the 'Assassin Marksman' meta.

all come to mind as heavy concerns, but this raises some other interesting questions:
- Will
become a true sniper, and assassinate from long ranges (as if she didnt already, but moreso)
With his damage and huge crits, how will this affect his gameplay?- Can
's Q proc this? If so, should it? That seems highly problematic if it could.
Lots of damage already... hm.
I dont even want to think about it.
I dont feel too concerned about her, but if it affected 2 or more champs I would be greatly worried about her rockets and splash damage.
- Please... please. God in heaven. I forgot about her. She's a heavy concern.
with their passive, this does become a bit worrying. Definitely should keep tabs on them.
Not as concerning as the others.
lol gross
Then of course there's other AD champs that worry me:
THIS FUCKER. As if he needs it.
Not so sure. But still, he tends to be wishy-washy with balance.

Are all up for debate at this point.
