Guinsoo's Rageblade Change Question [Patch 6.32]

Elite4Runner··2 votes·996 views

Surrender@20 shows that Guinsoo's Rageblade is getting +25% attack speed on base stats, but makes no mention of any changes to the attack speed gained per stack.

Is this an oversight or does this mean that the total attack speed is going up by 25%?

If so....

0 stacks: currently +0% attack speed > now +25% attack speed 1 stack: currently +8% attack speed > now +33% attack speed 2 stacks: currently +16% attack speed > now +41% attack speed 3 stacks: currently +24% attack speed > now +49% attack speed 4 stacks: currently +32% attack speed > now +57% attack speed 5 stacks: currently +40% attack speed > now +65% attack speed 6 stacks: currently +48% attack speed > now +73% attack speed

... I kinda doubt that

... but I will absolutely take it ... lol

That is exactly what you think it is.

Riot really wants this whole on-hit style gameplay to work but history says its really difficult to balance.

That just seems absurdly broken. Even old Guinsoo's only stacked up to 63%, if I remember right.

You mean this will go up to 73% and still have a phantom hit on every other attack?

What's a phantom hit?

Sorry, I still call it that because that is what it was called when the passive was on the Sated Devourer Enchantment.

Guinsoo's Rage: Every other basic attack with trigger on-hit effects an additional time.

Yeah, but the 2nd Guinsoo's Rageblade (the current one is 3rd) also had a much stronger on-hit effect and was 800 gold cheaper, so in the end, the buffed 3rd Rageblade will probably be pretty balanced now.
